I keep hoping people will come to their senses over this.....but I have a growing fear that's not going to happen.

There are too many factions that are highly motivated to keep the cartoon jihad rolling along to it's inevitable end.

Radical Islam seems to be offended simply by the Infidels existence so I see no end to that. Of course eventually some video of someone taking a dump on the Koran is going to hit the internet which will probably bring the kettle to the boiling point.

When the Iranian "electrical generating program" gets reduced to rubble next month I suspect the pot will begin to boil over.

This brings us the scary but very possible scenario of radical Islamists overthrowing Mushareef & seizing power in Pakistan.

My question is............Do we ("we" meaning countries that could ultimately be hurt by these nukes--and who have the military might to destroy them----The US and India come to mind) .........know where they are located?

During the cold war the US & Soviets played "hide the nuke" with subs & movable missle sites to ensure there would always be some warheads left over in case the other side attacked first.

Are Pakistans nukes located in known, targetable sites? What kind of delivery systems?.......Canberra bombers?...short-range missles......are they just sitting in a crate in some hidden site in the mountains?

Toughest question af all.................If we know were they are----and it looks like Mushareefs fall is imminant............do we make a pre-emptive strike to prevent them from falling into the jihadists hands even if it means large numbers of civilian casualties?

Uhhhh, tough one. Atomic weapons in the hands of - usually not very rational - extrem religious fanatics. That's one decision I would love NOT to have to make.:jaw-dropp

They are estimated to have some 30 to 50 weapons. A failed attempt to neutralise every single one of them would of course provoke them to acutally use the remaining.

Pakistan is reported to have several nuclear weapons storage facilities. Their exact locations are unknown. Reports and interviews with knowledgeable individuals mention that storage sites are on military bases. However, other storage locations, such as tunnels or mines, would be expected.
