I don't think they will put him in general population at Rikers, but I don't think house arrest will work either.

House arrest wouldn't necessarily mean one of his properties. It could be an assigned location he doesn't own. Nor is it likely he'd been given access to Truth Social or any other social media. Regular prisoners aren't and there's even more reason to keep Trump off the internet.

Exactly. There are holding cells in NY which he could be sent to.

I imagine he'd go to a federal facility. It would be shocking if the Secret Service, the NY Corrections Department and the Dept of Justice haven't already worked out a plan for his confinement. Getting him to four trials while in detention, while also keeping him out of general population isn't the sort of thing you just pull out of your ass.

Looks like there are suggestions that Weisselberg may have lied during his testimony at the trial. This also triggered other issues, namely that the Trump organization might have failed to produce all required documents during discovery process.

The article...said Weisselberg falsely claimed on the stand that he had “never focused” on the valuation of Trump’s apartment.... “While Defendants have produced some emails in that exchange, it appears they have not produced a later set of emails” between Weisselberg and a real estate expert, Steven Ekovich.

I would hope that Trump would get dinged for failure to produce evidence, and Weisselberg would go back to jail for lying during the trial (a violation of his deal/probation.) Sadly it will probably be swept under the rug.

Cohen told the Manhattan court that the annual “statement of financial condition” he helped prepare for his former boss was a fiction.

"Asked what that number was, Cohen replied: “Whatever number Trump told us to.”"

I believe Cohen because everything he has said about Trump keeps being confirmed by documents and testimonies of others.

Still, i find it strange that Trump's fixer/lawyer would be tasked to assist in asset valuations. I mean, he's not an accountant. But then, neither is the Trump Organization's CFO.

President Trump probably has a handful of trusted people at any point in time and those trusted people are called on to do everything whether it's fetching coffee, doing asset valuations or planning a coup. :rolleyes:
 
Remember when Trump was so careful during the pandemic to keep everyone safe?

Neither do I..... but its nice to see he's concerned about disease transmission NOW. However, I suspect his interest is in something other than saving lives.

He reminded the parties that if anyone was concerned, N95 masks were available. But for all the hubbub over the "risk," there were no takers, Trump included.
