Nothing, I just find Linehan very amusing.

Figures like Linehan and Rowling are illustrative of a broader phenomenon at work, where anti-trans so-called liberals slowly allow their transphobia to rot their brains into outright reactionary conservatism (or perhaps they just reveal their true natures, hard to say for certain)

I'll take that as a concession you've no evidence for Rowling's reactionary conservatism and you've made something up to get angry with her about (again)
 
I am actually curious how you feel about Linehan. Even among the transphobes opinions seemed to be mixed. He seems to lack the wisdom of Rowling that such bigotry is best packaged in a more polite package.

He seems generally embarrassing, regardless of how you feel about his stances.

ETA: Not that this generally condemns his whole "side" or whatever. Public discourse is not a private club, so even nutters like Graham can participate. Probably not the kind of person you want as your ally, but he comes with his own fame and thus, for whatever reason, gets a lot of attention for better or worse.

How can anyone be born in such a way that it requires state of the art technology in order to exist? (drugs, surgery).
Can anyone here answer that?

It is certain that children are being told this is the case.
I am trying to reduce this to its simplest form for my own peace of mind.

I'll take it as a concession that since you're not defending Linehan the same way you defend Rowling, you know he's a dud. I don't blame you, I wouldn't want him on my "side" either.
