Here's the quote I like from it:

“We object to the view that transgender people have an aberrant body image condition or that brain imaging of traumatic response could ultimately ‘help’ trans people. It is suggestive of a search for medical ‘cure,’ which can open the door for more gatekeeping and restrictive policies and practices in relation to access to gender-affirming care. At a time in which trans lives are under attack, we find this kind of research to be misguided and dangerous.”​

What a perfect encapsulation of self-contradiction. If viewing your own body causes "traumatic response", then it's perfectly reasonable to call that an "aberrant body image condition". Normal people don't respond to their own body with trauma, even if they don't like the way they look.

And what else is transition surgery but a search for a medical cure?
 
"I have a psychological disorder that needs treatment. Denying me access to treatment is immoral."

"Very well. Let's study this disorder and try to figure out what the best treatment is."

"Not like that!"

"Like what, then?"

"Just give me whatever I want, or I'll kill myself. And it will be your fault."

"That sounds literally insane. We really need to help you with your mental health."

"How dare you suggest I'm not mentally healthy!"

It should be well understood that this is more of the unacceptable behaviour of men pretending to be women. They should be nowhere near the children as paid consultants.
It is more of Richard/Rachel Levine.
