1 killed, 6 wounded in Lynn, Massachusetts. There is nothing special about the shooting. It was a drive-by at a house party, one of hundreds with either of those two descriptors.

However, 1 killed with 6 wounded is the exact same number of victims in the Minneapolis anti-LGBTQ+ hate crime mass shooting from 3 weeks ago. The one where police and media still have not offered a description of the two suspects, who are still on the loose, other than "male."

That was the only posted mass shooting on GVA from Friday. I would expect more than that on any given Friday, much less a Friday on a major summer holiday weekend. Must be problems with the website.

Which tells you how ****** up the situation is in the USA. A drive-by shooting with multiple casualties is considered "nothing special".

A crime related shooting of multiple people in a high crime area, is just standard operating procedure in many urban areas of the USA. Equating such events with the massacres at Columbine or Virginia tech seems a little dishonest if you ask me. But it does raise the number of mass shootings to one a day which helps a political objective.

50 days since Nicholas Golden was gunned down in an anti-LGBTQ+ hate crime mass shooting and still no suspect description.

In fairness, if they don't get a workable description out within like 48 hours, it ain't happening. Contradictory witnesses, no traits that stand out, etc, make putting out a vague description pretty useless.

"We are tooking for an average height and weight white male with brown hair!" Yeah that's great.

We know the 2 suspects were male, why stop the vagueness their? Are they white, black, Hispanic or Asian?

The 2 anti-LGBTQ+ perpetrators of this hate crime mass shooting were at the party mingling and drinking with other guests for quite some time before they started sexually harassing and making unwanted advances at some of the rainbow people prior to being made to leave. There can be very detailed descriptions given if those involved chose to.

"We are tooking for an average height and weight white male with brown hair!" Yeah that's great.

Really weird to assume that the people who were apparently attending a crusty underground punk show at some small house venue before shooting the place up were black.

Photos of the venue show that the audience is overwhelmingly white, which is not very surprising for this specific subculture.

Entirely willing to believe MPD is not taking this shooting very seriously, considering the who the victims are, but I'm not sure what point you think this demonstrates.

Why do you think it's weird? Statistically, it's highly probable that the shooters are black. I may be wrong, the shooters might be Latino, or Asian, or Muslim. I am 100% certain they are not white MAGAr types and 99% certain they are not white at all.

There have been several ****lib media outlets cover the story and none of them have provided a description of the suspects. There's a reason for that – the shooters don't match the narrative.

Considering this was a mass shooting at a rainbow event, I would expect that federal authorities are assisting. I could be wrong, they may set this one out if the shooters are of the wrong ethnical persuasion. They are very busy investigating angry parents and trespassing grandparents.
