I just got an "anniversary" notification that I've been on Twitter/X (which I now just call "TwiX") for three years. I've made a very few posts on there in all that time. I don't even check it all that often because in three years I don't think I've seen a single positive, uplifting, or amusing posting there. But sometimes I'm curious as to what idiots are currently commenting about. Usually something political. And very often wrong.
 
They better ******* fix the block function before they introduce calls.

Eta: and have an opt-out of calls function.

I guess it's an entirely speculative question whether or not Twitter would have returned to profitability, because Musk is running the company into the ground, both adding expenses through the gigantic debt and by killing profitability by driving off users and making the place radioactive for brand conscious advertisers.

Google is also a major player in web services and technology, worth around €1.6T while TwiX peaked, in the pre-MusX days at less than two percent of that.

But first he's changing the rules on how polls work
