Hopefully the wheels also fall off his continued campaign to Nazify Florida. Granted, any successor will be another dimwitted good ol' boy or similar. But hopefully they won't be starting a civil war between Florida's citizens, or thinking they can brownshirt their way across the country.

doubt it.

more likely , the Florida Legislature will double down, pass what they can in extreme laws, knowing that when the backlash comes, it will be directed against Rhonda, not them.

And this despite the fact that the boycott that hurt InBev was the one done in protest to their backing down in the face of an ineffective far-right one.
 
Anyone know if DeSantis is actually religious and believes in the religious stuff he pushes? Or is he like Trump and it's just a means to get support and power?

The DeSantis appointed board overseeing Disney is removing the $8 million law enforcement budget. It isn't clear that they are replacing it with anything as the statement from the board seem to indicate they think having it at all was 'naughty'.

'Defund the police' indeed.
 
Alpha Phi Alpha, a black fraternity with approx. 300,000 members, had planned to hold their convention in Florida but has pulled it due to the 'hostile' policies to A-Americans in FL.
 
Observing DeSantis the last few months he's worse than Donald Trump in many ways.

And I bet he wouldn't hire the typical Republican neo-con types that Trump typically appoints. He'd go for the type of 4chan-addicted dormant fascist scum that probably convinced the campaign to post that neo-Nazi video.

So Disney will step in and fund it itself. That is petty cash for the Mouse.
I strongly suspect all the other businesses denpedent on Disney in Florida..and there are a lot of them...are going to make their displeasure known.

A real problem for the "Never Trump" rump of conservatives that the #2 candidate is a textbook fascist would probably be even worse than Trump in pretty much every way.

The American conservative party is fully radicalized now, hovering between Trump death cult or outright neo-fascism. Right now the Trump death cult is winning and DeSantis seems to only be squandering any good will he has earned among the right wing base by being an absolute ghoul of a governor by challenging their God-King.
 
trump killed his campaign by saying he ate pudding with his fingers. that was all it took.

You seem to be under the assumption that this portrayal of Florida's curriculum is accurate.

It is not.

Now, I understand why you are operating under that false assumption. What I don't understand is why Tim Scott is. He should know better than to trust the press.
