Rumor: Lukashenko flew from Minsk to Moscow tonight (or perhaps still is flying)
Rumor: Para-military vehicles to block access to some Moscow government buildings were brought to the city a day ago already
Rumor: Arrests may take place as we speak inside the FSB building in Moscow.

Still no sign of Putin
Rumor: Putin considers fleeing to Uruguay.

It doesn't matter whether Prigozhin's coup succeeds or not. Everybody in Russia and outside know the war is lost. The army is revolting and split. They don't want to fight their morale is shot.

Rumor: Prigozhin is sending out warg riders and Uruk-hai from Isenguard Rostov to find the hobbits before Putin does.

Lukashenko's airplane did a big semi-circle, east kinda in the direction of Moscow, then south over the Caspian, then west.

Now it is over Georgia, still heading west.

Heading towards Turkey, maybe. Nobody knows whether or not Lukashenko is even on the plane, some people seem to think he's in Dubai right now but maybe they're getting his family out.

There don't seem to be any reports of unrest in Minsk, so I'm not putting much faith in the "Lukashenko doing a runner" kind of rumors.

Putin should announce a Special Military Operation to defend Russians from invading Russians.

Which will then be followed by a third special operation to fight the last group sent to fight the first group.

This is sounding like the opening credits for Monty Python and the Holy Grail...

:'Those responsible for sacking the people responsible for sacking the people doing the credits have been sacked"/

Needs more llamas.

I can't believe Prigozhen would try something like this without having substantial support lined up.

I guess there must be a reason he fled toward Rostov. I've been assuming he went to where he has the largest force he can count on in the hope they can rally more to his cause.

Wagner has surrounded the Russian ministry of defense building in Rostov.

The plane that Lukashenko frequently uses is about to land at Ekinanbari airport on Turkey's Aegean coast.

I think I'm going to make some popcorn.

Tanks on the streets in Rostov. We're told they're Wagner units occupying the defense ministry. Hard to tell, though. They're all Russian. It could be something else, entirely.

I'm not cheering for Wagner. They are... not nice guys. It would be nice if it took some pressure off Ukraine while they were eating each other alive, though. Does anybody have a plan for securing Russia's nukes if the whole thing descends into bedlam?
