Of course you do - it is a standard part of Christian theology that miracles occur. Do you have a favourite example of one? Preferably one that happened in modern times, rather one that is known only by historical documentation (such as the Resurrection), which can be hard for science to examine.

Oh hey Billy. I talked to the mormons like you suggested. They didn't seem to have read the bible and weren't at all familiar with it. Is that typical for missionaries?

What miracle? Hungry gulls find and follow a massive source of food and gorge on it. What's so miraculous about that?

Dude, the Mormons were praying about everything, night and day, every day. So it's hardly a coincidence that something happened after fervent prayer. Everything happened after fervent prayer, including mostly nothing out of the ordinary.

Why do I need to repent to a badly drawn character in a sub-par fiction novel?
 
It's also a classic case of the double standard that's applied to God's actions by believers, in that he is thanked for the beneficial ones but never blamed for the harmful ones. If he was responsible for the gulls, he must also have been responsible for the crickets.

Even weirder than the fact that he's fictional is the fact that he's also wildly morally inferior to almost everybody alive today. For most of us, repenting to that or taking a morality lesson from that would be like trying to learn to read & write from an illiterate person.
