Fox News knew they were lying about election

It's scary-funny that Carlson thinks he or Fox has any credibility to destroy.

In another text exchange a few days later, as stated in the legal filing, Carlson repeated his concerns to Ingraham, writing that “Sidney Powell is lying by the way. I caught her. It’s insane.” Ingraham replied, “Sidney is a complete nut. No one will work with her. Ditto with Rudy.” Carlson responded, “It’s unbelievably offensive to me. Our viewers are good people and they believe it.”

The hypocrisy of Carlson finding their lying and behavior 'offensive' when he's been doing the same thing for years is off the scales.

Following a Nov. 19 broadcast of a press conference where Giuliani and Powell echoed their false claims that the election was rigged, Carlson went on his show to say that Powell had described “the single greatest crime in American history.” Yet Carlson also admitted that “she never sent us any evidence, despite a lot of requests,” and closed his show by expressing his hope that “Sidney Powell will come forward soon with details on exactly how this happened, and precisely who did it.”

And yet, even fully knowing that she and others were crazy and lying, he repeated the same lies with a feeble attempt to give himself plausible deniability with his sorry carefully worded caveat Notice he didn't just say she had provided no evidence, but he adds that he hopes "Sidney Powell will come forward soon with details on exactly how this happened, and precisely who did it," as if she can.

The FOX suits and babbling heads may have mocked Donny's rigged and stollen lies, but it seems they were clearly directed NOT to mock Donny personally. Who by??

The interest is not that most of us already know what lying scumbags they are, but that there is now documented, tangible proof that they knew the claims were lies.

Pretty overwhelming evidence, for that matter. I think I also read that Dominion is seeking summary judgement for this case given how overwhelming the evidence against Fox is.


I'm reminded, a little tangentially, that fox spirit myths have long been associated with deceit.
 
Surely the most important point is that Trump knew he was lying, and you are set to buy another 4 years of this lying liar.

Perhaps the latter part of that touches on the actual most important point - the willingness among so very, very many to play along with such farcical and brazen lies.
 
The undeniable irony of all of this is that Fox News is exactly what conservatives accuse the “mainstream media” of being.

Once again, it is demonstrated that the right wing has zero integrity or morality, and every accusation that they make is a confession.

Fake News accurately describes FOX. I bet FOX viewers haven't heard a word about this.

Interesting that Trump called into FOX during the 1/6 insurrection but the FOX executives refused to put him on the air. It would be interesting to know what that POS would have said.

There is no way that Fox News don't know they are lying all the time.

Nobody has any business believing anything Tucker Carlson says. He is straight-up lying propagandist of the most despicable kind.
