Mitt Romney will make a push to replace Trump for the 2020 election, sometimes around April, after the Bicentennial Celebration of the LDS Church, in order to fulfill the White Horse Prophecy.

It's a forecasting website which asks for specific predictions (with precise criteria). You are asked to give percentage chance predictions about those things happening, or not (sometimes with multiple possible outcomes). You are then scored on the accuracy of your predictions and measured against others forecasting the same question on the same day.

Personally I find it very interesting and a valuable check on my understanding of the world.

Gold reached $1617 (intraday) recently. My $1630 prediction is looking good.

Gold (intra-day) yesterday reached $1700.10, nobody could predict that. Seems to be hanging around the $1675 mark but is very skittish.
 
I'm afraid I don't have the courage of my convictions. I rarely gamble, I hate it when I lose and I tend to have the 'reverse' Midas touch.
 
I predict a global pandemic in March and April that will render many of the other predictions on this thread obsolete.

Unrelated: does anybody know how to alter the date on a post to make it appear a couple of months older than it really is? (Asking for a friend.)
 
I predicted the stock market crash, and I pulled out within 1% of the peak.

I was frantic to sell while on a primitive island in the Philippines, as this Coronavirus got serious in China, and I did it with my cell phone data plan.

The wife seems positively dreamy about that.

I was so wrong about Neptune's orbit, shortly after my last post in this thread Neptune just went nuts with its orbit. Up, down, angled, backwards, spinning three directions at once, backwards in time, running with scissors, conga line with the other planets...on behalf of the Neptune Orbitwatch Guild I'd like to apologize for our hubris, and state that there were no irregularities with the donation funds collected and there will be no further statements or audits.
