Electric universe theories here.

The Great mystery. Where are we from...ah, to ponder.
Stop playing stupid on purpose.
The question is not a metaphysical one at all. It is a pretty simple one, actually: how do you create energy, in the EU theory, that is necessary to generate the various physical effects we experience, like the heat emitted by the sun, or its light?

Now, if your only answer to this is "The Great Mystery", then you are admitting you are doing theology, not physical science.

Anyhoo, back to actual plasma, electric currents, electric fields....blah blah blah plasma blah blah blah...
No. There is no point in discussing those if you can't even start explaining what your EU theory is.

Or are you implying, that because there is no apparent “battery” there can be no electric currents, electric fields, plasma instabilities...so on an so forth?
I'm not implying anything at this stage. I'm awaiting YOUR answer(s).
So, where does the energy emitted by, say, the Sun comes from, according to your theory?

At this time, it’s not relevant. We are still getting over words to mean things.
Not 'we' - 'you, Sol88'. Everybody else here seems to have a rather broad agreement on the meaning of terms. You are the only one who has trouble with that.

You may then move onto advanced plasma physics!
Why would I try to talk about 'advanced plasma physics' with someone who isn't even able to properly explain his own theory axioms in intelligible terms?

When will you finally start answering Hans's 4 (now 5) basic questions? Or are you too science-illiterate to even be able to answer them?

How do you create energy? Well, NOT by breaking the First law!

Are you even trying to be clever?

Maybe a wake up call but
The first law of thermodynamics is a version of the law of conservation of energy, adapted for thermodynamic processes. In general, the conservation law states that the total energy of an isolated system is constant; energy can be transformed from one form to another, but can be neither created nor destroyed.

Do you agree?

That was actually a poorly phrased question.

What powers stars in the EU theory? We agree energy isn’t created, only transformed. But what was it transformed from?

The EU folks have no answer.

Well.... lauwenmark

Do you think he's playing?

In the big bAnG, how was the energy for everything created?

:sdl:

Was "the energy for everything created?"

The zero-energy universe hypothesis posits that the total energy of the universe is zero.

Zero-energy universeWP

Stars...let’s up bump it up a magnitude or two, shall we?

What powers an AGN Jet?

Gravity?

Is that mainstream? The zero energy universe?

Well, it's certainly been advanced by many mainstream scientists and physicists. However, I don't think just a hypothesis (any hypothesis) is what most would consider a constituent of the mainstream. To my knowledge that's theories and laws.

No, stick with a regular star like our sun, what powers such a star in the EU theory?

What powers an AGN Jet?

Gravity?

While gravity certainly plays a central role and the system does lose mass via the jets. As far as I know, it wouldn't be considered their energy source.

ETA: Remember gravity represents a negative energy potential so even in a star like our sun gravity wouldn't be considered the energy source.

Let's take a hydroelectric dam for example one might think that it's powered by gravity but actually it's powered by the water cycle where water evaporates, condenses and rains back down. Which is itself powered by the sun. The gravity of the dam or waterfall is just a way of harvesting that energy supplied to it by the sun via the water cycle

No. Let's start with stars, because we can study them much more easily. We even have one very close to us.

You can't answer the question, can you?

We have. Simple circuit.

Even nature shows the capacitor at work in the form of lightning. One plate is the cloud, the other plate is the ground and the lightning is the charge releasing between these two "plates." Obviously, a capacitor that large can hold a huge charge!

One plate being the Helio sphere the other the photo sphere.

There is an electric field accelerating the solar wind (flux tubes, FAC and Birkeland currents included) thru the solar system.

Nope. Wrong. That can't work. It would discharge too quickly (as in, one immediate explosion). Electricity does not have the energy required to keep the sun shining for billions of years.

All of this is obvious with some basic math, but nobody in the EU crowd can do math. Or even understand it when someone does it for them.

Static Pith Ball ya think?

The Sun MAINTAINS a slight positive charge space compared to the surrounding plasma.

Thermal acceleration of gas...

Whooboy!

Even if this could work, I still do not see how the Sun could start with all of this energy ready to be slowly released. And mind you, we know a lot more details about the creation of stars than when EU theories were dreamt up.

The sun doesn’t have a predefined charge the leaks away over time. It’s dynamic, it’s part of a curcuit.

To what extent...?

So where’s the energy coming from then?

A capacitor is only an energy source if it discharges over time. And that’s not possible here, even you aren’t pretending that. So where’s your battery in the circuit?

Again, you have no answer.

Pastafaris have the great spaghetti monster
EUtians have the great battery in the sky

Maybe it's a coal fired power plant. Coal is black, so maybe that's why we can't see it. Maybe the CMB comes from coal.
