Herschel Walker Says He’s a Model Dad. He Has a Secret Son.

We all know how a lying, blithering dimwit became the GOP nominee. It's now past history. Except...

Sen. Rick Scott said:
Herschel Walker will continue to be a leader in our party for years to come.
Lol?

Too bad Jerzy Kosinski isn't still alive to witness these surreal events.

That says more about Rick Scott's diminished mental capacity than Walker's. At least Walker has a medical reason for his. Scott? He was just born none-too-bright.

I hope Rick Scott is correct. We need more people like Hershel Walker in GOP elections.

Now that the campaign has (predictably) crashed and burned, staffers are talking to the media. Apparently Walker expected to get 50% of the black vote merely because he's black. Further, for some reason he not only expected to have won his previous home county with 100% of the vote, he threatened to have the local sheriff track down and report the 26% or so of the county that didn't vote for him!

Why does that sound familiar? Oh, right. Sarah Palin being chosen as McCain's VP candidate with the expectation that the women disappointed that Hillary Clinton didn't get the Democratic nomination would vote for McCain/Palin because most women will automatically vote for a woman.

Only 100%?

From your link:

"The moment was typical Walker: myopically focused on personal grievances while his campaign crumbled around him."

Sound familiar?

That's insane! I found it interesting the campaign team said they should go with Warnock's church evicting people from some church apartment they owned and instead Walker got hung up on his ego:
Take “coachgate,” for example.

In late November, Raphael Warnock visited Wrightsville, where one of Walker’s former high-school football coaches threw his support behind the Democrat.

“That visit ****** Herschel’s mind up,” one staffer said.

Warnock’s move enraged both Walker and Blanchard, they said, with Blanchard pushing the campaign to pivot its line of attack to the coach, and away from allegations of evictions at a subsidized-housing complex owned by Warnock’s church.

“That was the point we felt we lost him,” said another aide, still mystified at exactly why the moment seemed to hit so close to home. “Two weeks out from the runoff, and we couldn’t get him to understand why this was a bad idea, to go after a high-school football coach when the other message was working.”

When the campaign pushed back, Walker called for a five-day blackout, canceling almost all public activity over the first weekend of early runoff voting. At that point, three staffers said, communication between the candidate and his top aides broke down—and it never recovered.
Who does that sound like?

He was a Dallas Cowboy?

Yes, and the Cowboys traded him to the vikings and got the core of their early 90's Multi Superbowl winning team in exchange. Perhaps the worst trade..for the Vikings..in NFL: history.

Yesterday I found out that MTG and Hershell Walker ran in Georgia.

What the hell is wrong with Georgia/the GOP/USA that two complete nutjobs can run for a major party?

They largely despise Democrats. It's hard to blame them. Imagine a party that represents so much of what you hate. Then you are left with an inconvenient choice: vote for someone who represents beliefs you hate, or risk it with a nutjob.

I'm rolling the dice with a nutjob, these days. And being forced to make that choice just makes me hate the Dems even more.
