So if children are being allowed to identify as cats, and if gay marriage will inevitably lead to people marrying animals, doesn't that circle the square for our right wing friends? I mean it's all good now, right?
 
Not so much "stupid" as it is classless... (although technically it is from one of the dumber GOP candidates)....

Barnes had loving parents,” and then added, “What puzzles me about that is with that upbringing, why has he turned against America?” His response prompted booing from the crowd.
 
The origin of the "dressing as cats and demanding to wee in litter boxes" has a truly sad and scary origin:
It comes from an attempt to implement Active Shooter protocols; if your class is locked up for hours, you need a place where the kids can pee.
It's twisted and sick for Republicans to pretend this a left-wing culture issue when it is a direct result of right wing gun culture

Absolutely. Until I read it just a few posts upthread, I had never considered the obvious need for a "go bucket" in classrooms (not to be confused with a go-bag or bug out bag. [emoji1] ).
And considering the more outdoorsy, camping, fishing, hunting, often rural and conservative folk are more likely to be familiar with the common and widely sold 5 gallon bucket chem toilet kit... it's doubly disingenuous of the right wing to mistake such "active shooter lockdown" prep when used as an obvious parody.

I think you're being needlessly generous. I realize many if not most of the people in question are very stupid indeed, but I am guessing that in this case they are just plain lying and know it, or purposely avoiding finding out the truth because they do not care about truth and prefer lies.

I would suggest that they aren't only morons. It is, after all, quite obviously possible to be a lying hypocritical schemer for reasons that are at their root also stupid.

This bugs me nearly as much as the activity he was doing. Why would he park across three spaces at all? Triply so if he were going to be doing something he shouldn't while so parked!

“Funding for a basic sex education program in New Hampshire remains on hold because of opposition from the Republican-controlled Executive Council.

Councilors Joe Kenney, Ted Gatsas and Dave Wheeler declined to take action Wednesday on a $682,000 contract that remains on hold.

The funding is aimed at reducing teen pregnancy.

Gov. Chris Sununu pressed the councilors on their reluctance to move the funding forward, saying they have supported the funding in the past. "No, you voted for this. You voted for this. As did you, Councilor Wheeler," Sununu said. "You've all voted for this and this curriculum before. You're hearing the curriculum is absolutely no different. So, what is the hold up now?"

The councilors opposed to the funding said they have concerns about parental rights.”

All the malfeasance and scummy things being done is one thing, and an important thing to be sure. However, I have to admit that one thing that gets to me on a more personal level isn't just that they keep doing these deplorable things, but that they do them badly.

Take some pride in your misdeeds! Triple parking makes you a jerk. Masturbating in public makes you a jerk. Triple parking in a fairly active area draws attention to you, making you almost certain to get caught, which makes you a stupid jerk.
