Not that I think Ukraine did it but if they did, she was a legitimate target of war. As a propagandist, killing her would have been entirely in keeping with the laws of armed conflict.

I’ve got 212 murderous bones when it comes to fascists. But I want them dead because the world is a happier place without them. I don’t know this woman, but I know she and her ilk are scum.
Europe is at war with a new breed of fascism, as is America. I want them all dead. No fascist is a civilian, they are all rightful targets

There is some guy who was a member of the parliament in Russia who "fled" to Ukraine who confessed that his group is behind the murder. A guy who used to work for Soros-financed "think tanks". I won't look up his name, try Google or a real search engine. The murderer, whose name I also won't look up for you (Wowk out of memory) is a member of the "National Guard" of Ukraine, which is not the military but was formed around the "Nazi" battalions to tame them a bit - obviously didn't work. The FSB has released videos where everything is documented, from her entering Russia in her Mini Cooper with her 12 years old daughter beside her, to renting an apartment in the high-rise building Dugina was living in, to several other snippets, to her attending the "Festival" Dugin was speaking at (actually more of a garden party with a temporary pavillion and maybe 100 attendants), to the time she fled Russia to Estonia in the same Mini Cooper with her daughter. She has since been seen in Vienna and, in my opinion, might be in London now where murderous thugs like her often end up.

What's missing is a video of her planting the bomb, but she obviously pulled the remote trigger knowing that Dugin wasn't in the car. Her target was his daughter.

The FSB story is is obviously rubbish. It involves pretty poor forgeries. It came out implausibly soon after the attack, and included the suspect supposedly traveling to Russia with an ID card identifying her not only as a Ukrainian, but as a Ukrainian who is a member of a military unit that Russia has declared a terrorist organisation (it is not).


The killing is almost certainly (I would go further and say, "certainly" but I suppose we don't have proof) an internal Russian operation.and the most plausible explanation is that it was authorized by Putin, possibly to get at her father.

However this *still* might backfire on Putin if others, instead of taking it as a warning, think that it is a threat.

Exactly. For those who are too lazy to do their own research, the creep who confessed to ordering the murder is called Ilja Ponomarjow in German transliteration, the actual murder was commited by Natalia Vovk. You can find all I described in the previously linked article, which is in German and the sources are (of course) in Russian.

jimbob, the "National Guard" is not part of the military. It joined all of the Nazi batalions in the Poroshenko era under the shape of IIRC the interior ministry (say CIA).

I'm afraid nobody cares if you trust the FSB, and that video is of course only a snippet of the evidence. Confession is there, full track record is there, case is closed. I've linked to the full evidence.
