Operation Double Cross ?
Yes, the book by Ben Macintyre 'Double Cross: The True Story of The D-Day Spies' is the best one on the subject.

In WW2 the British realised the best way to use the German spies they captured in the UK and 'turned' (It was all of them) was to feed mainly real intelligence, albeit low level, through to the Germans wit the fake stuff mixed in.

As I recall, they also fed misinformation about where the V1 and V2 bombs were landing, in order to make the Germans 'adjust their aim' to take the bombs away from central London.

I'm beginning to understand the allusion to Al Bundy's four high school touchdowns. Do y'all not have anything to say about this current conflict?
All that tells me is that Russia will sink civilian ships carrying Ukraine grain. Nyah, nyah, nyah.MK Bhadrakumar chimes in again.
Ukraine grain deal is a feel-good event. But road to peace is long and winding
Indian perspective, ought to be read in full.
Another of your predictions, Childlike Empress?Watch it closer and in a couple of weeks you will be wiser.
Russian 2S7M suffered a catastrophic barrel failure, with a 103kg shell traveling about 2100mph (960m/s), I would not want to be anywhere near that when it went boom.
Also a sign that Russian crews may be pushing their current artillery systems to the edge of reliability.
Another of your predictions, Childlike Empress?
There will be no Ukrainian counter-offensive.
Do you deny that the BBC video clearly shows that no grain silos were hit (at least not in the video)
and their whole "uuh uuh it's a violation of the "grain deal"" is pure propaganda?
Moscow has charged 92 members of the Ukrainian armed forces with "crimes against the peace and security of humanity"
Also proposed is an international tribunal backed by countries including Iran, Syria and Bolivia.
Also investigations are under way into Ukrainian health ministry employees for developing weapons of mass destruction.

Moscow Calling [a medium-sized Russian Telegram channel] notably defined the arrival of HIMARS as a distinct turning point in the war and stated that previously provided Western weapons systems (such as NLAWs, Javelins, Stingers, and Bayraktars) did very little against Russian artillery bombardment (they are not designed or intended to counter artillery attack), but that HIMARS changed everything for Russian capabilities in Ukraine.[8] Moscow Calling strongly insinuated that recent Ukrainian strikes on Russian warehouses, communication hubs, and rear bases are having a devastating and potentially irreversible impact on the development of future Russian offensives.[9]
CE rarely makes specific predictions, just vague non committal statements like that, which is why I've bookmarked this one:
There will be no Ukrainian counter-offensive.
This prediction has already shown itself to be wrong.
This depends very much on what you consider properly a "counter-offensive". There is some small forward movement of Ukrainian units (on the scale of individual villages) in limited parts of the very long contact line, in an area that is not nearly as fortified or equipped with men and material on either side as the Donetsk region is. Some commentators say this is a harbinger of a coming counter-offensive - you seem to think it already is one. Matter of opinion, not fact, at this point.
High-precision sea-based long-range weapons near Bogdanovtsy, Khmelnitskyi region, have destroyed transshipment base with US-supplied ammunition for HIMARS multiple-launch rocket systems and shells for US M777 large-calibre howitzer.
A bit from today's MoD report:
High-precision sea-based long-range weapons near Bogdanovtsy, Khmelnitskyi region, have destroyed transshipment base with US-supplied ammunition for HIMARS multiple-launch rocket systems and shells for US M777 large-calibre howitzer.
Vladimir Putin's forces have destroyed an ammunition depot for US-made HIMARS rocket systems in Bogdanovtsy, in Ukraine's Khmelnytskyi region, the Russian defence ministry has claimed.
Reuters was unable to independently confirm the reports.
Russia has previously said it has destroyed several of the HIMARS systems supplied to Ukraine by the West, in claims denied by Kyiv.
