Bellagio Buffet Gourmet Dinner

The buffet at the Bellagio is quite good; we checked it out last year. However they have, beyond their usual spread, a "Gourmet Dinner" for about $35 (not cheap!) on Friday and Saturday nights.

I propose a group of us check out this fancy gourmet dinner. Doing so Friday rule out anyone going to the Dinner w/ Randi and would conflict with Lotus of Siam. Doing so saturday means we might be late to the Forum Party (but this will go late anyway).

I prefer Friday, but am perfectly happy to go Saturday if that's better for everyone else.

Who else is interested?

Mrs. TJ and I are going to the 9pm Jamy show on Saturday night, but I think we can still go. What time is the Forum party? Is that on the List?

By the way TK, I really like your song "Little Something". You are going to bring me a CD, aren't you? *You are smiling and nodding now*

I'd be happy to reciprocate.

Hey, thanks! I'm glad you liked it. I'd be happy to bring you a CD but it would only have that one song on it, which you are welcome to burn to CD yourself if you have the capability. I don't have any more recordings at present, that will be remedied when I get back from TAM and have some cash.

Wait...there's a forum party? Man, I'm out of the loop.

Never mind about the CD, TK. I can enjoy your song on my iPod as-is and burn it to a CD of my own if I need to. I was just hoping for more. :)

Apparently the Forum Party is on Saturday, but I'm still looking for more info...

I'm in. Either night. Doesn't matter.

As a foodie I never, ever pass an opportunity to partake in a gourmet meal.

The Bellagio Buffet and the Liberace Museum are the two things that I refuse to miss on this trip. (I've never been to Vegas, but I've been dying to see both since I very first heard about them.)

Ha ha! The Liberace Museum is also on my 'must-do' list. Cool!

OK. It's going to be Friday night. So some people will have to choose between this and Lotus of Siam. Hutch, I am the contact person for this.

Hi Loon. I might be interested in this. Where did you get information about it? I went to the Bellagio's website and only saw mention of their regular buffet. I'm just wondering what qualifies as "gourmet."

Looks like I'm out if it's Friday, I'll be at the celebrity dinner dining and chatting with Randi. No offense to any of you, but my life will not be complete until I have shared at least one meal with The Amazing Randi. I don't even mind having to share him with the few other people at the table.

I hope it's as good as you hope and even better than you expect.

Great Choice! The Bellagio Buffet is always mentioned as one of the top buffets in Vegas. Having been to this buffet last year, I couldn’t believe the quality and quantity of food. Unfortunately my stomach wasn’t big enough to try it all. There seemed to be an unlimited supply of King Crab there. I recall seeing a mouth-watering, heaping pile of claws and legs just waiting to be eaten; yum. I’m so there.

Sorry you and the missus can't make it TJ.

Supercorgi, I called the hotel and they do still have the fancy-ass buffet on Fridays and Saturdays. It's $35+tax.

They say the line isn't bad at 6 pm but after that it gets long (about to an hour?) after that. So we should have plenty of time.

This is very very tempting... I'll probably go. It depends on how hungry I feel at the time, I think!

I'm totally up for this

And I second (third? fourth?), the Liberace museum - I promised someone I would get them a keychain from there.
