Exactly. If he thought that BLM and Antifa were really there, no way would he have wanted armed people in the crowd.

Lies are like botfly larvae: they have a way of coming out eventually.

Or, as John Adams said 'Facts are Stubborn Things".

Why did they bring this woman in unexpectedly, like a "surprise witness" on the Perry Mason show? Was there some timing issue or something? For dramatic effect? Or newly discovered info (seems odd for this to suddenly come to light)?

Take it to conspriacies, pal.
Your great god Donnie is looking worse by the hour.

It's not a "conspiracy". I'm asking how this came about, this sudden uplanned action by the committee, and it has nothing to do with Trump. Obviously.

They were supposedly done with hearings until sometime in July, right? Was this woman reluctant to testify before, and if so, why?

She started giving depositions in February.

I checked Fox News' website. Their top headline reads: "Biden reportedly annoyed by line of questioning from fellow Democrats and press as 2024 looms large"

The next article is about AOC: "'Squad' firebrand mercilessly mocked over call for abortions in GOP-run states"

And beside it: "Special counsel rules top Biden official violated federal law during interview"

As far as I can tell, the video ad in the upper-left corner had the My Pillow guy and featured Larry Elder.

Hmm. Kinda strange to throw it out there on such short notice...like, what's the difference?

The committee had announced the hearing on Monday with less than a day's notice "to present recently obtained evidence and receive witness testimony" after saying there would be no additional hearings until July. Given that urgency and the major pieces of information Hutchinson had already shared with the Democrat-led committee for its nearly 11-month investigation, expectations were set that her testimony, presented in person and in recordings from her four committee interviews, would be significant.

But, whatever.

Don't know if it's relevant, but Meadows is suing the committee so he doesn't have to address their subpoena. I had heard, but can't verify, that there are certain filing dates coming up. Maybe the two are related.

Rumor has it she was being threatened and they decided to get her testimony done as quickly as possible. But I don't know how reliable that information is.

You know Meadows bitterly regrets leaving a nice safe House seat in Carolina to become the Cheif Of Staff.

She was threatened. Cheney called it witness tampering.

Several news outlets are reporting it and Cheney referred to witness tampering at the end of the hearing.

Horrible. Well, if true, hopefully they can bring the perpetrator(s) to light.

ALready been nicknamed Ketchupgate because of the plate throwing incident.
SOmetimes a little thing can tell you more about a person then the big things. That the POTUS was behaving like a spoiled five year old tells you all you need to know.

Nobody has answered the burning question yet -- what was the meat being served for lunch? A Big Mac? Or a steak? Both require ketchup in his world.

I cannot think of anything more disgustng then using Ketchup on a really good steak.
