The Jan. 6 Investigation

That Obama set up, in point of fact. Also, what's the alternative? Are you saying that children should go to jail with their parents to await trial?

Should the sins of the fathers pass down to the children? Should we apply that to other crimes? Maybe when bank robbers are arrested, if they're a single parent, their children be incarcerated with them instead of going into the foster system?

Clearly there's some assumptions and/or gross misunderstanding going on here.

Being detained until a hearing can be held to make a determination on an asylum request, being denied counsel or even a translator, then being badgered into signing a document that authorizes having your child taken from you (in some cases being told "sign it or else your child will be taken from you")...

Quite different from the phrasing and anologies you've chosen, drenched in presumption of criminality and low moral character.

What utter filth.

And what is the American average?

There an old joke - "Think about how dumb the average person is, and then consider that half of the population is dumber than them."
The thing is, the people we remember as being particularly stupid aren't average. That's why we remember them. Average people don't stick in our memory because there's nothing unusual about them. A cashier at the grocery store can't make change, and we remember it. We don't remember the other 87 times when a cashier was perfectly capable of doing basic math.

I made it a point to keep a tally going on two convenience store annoyances: people who don't reach to take the door you're holding open for them and people who, when there is an obvious line, don't get in line when any open 6 inches of open counter space are available.

The results after a few days were depressing enough that I stopped counting. I've stopped holding doors for people and I'm about ready to join in the cavalcade of people who don't understand what a queue is.

I always hold doors for people and when someone just waltzes through without acknowledging it, I say very loudly "You're welcome!" Their reaction is almost always one of embarrassment and with a belated "Oh! Thank you!". I think most people aren't intentionally being rude, they're just in their own world and don't notice.

Detroit News: Michigan GOP gubernatorial candidate Kelley arrested on Jan. 6 riot-related charges.
https://www.detroitnews.com/story/n...n-gop-governor-candidate-arrested/7566967001/

If this happened in coordination with the January 6th commission, it would be a great start into the hearings.

From your link:

"He gave a speech while wearing a name tag and stated ‘Covid-19 was made so that they can use the propaganda to control your minds so that you think, if you watch the media, that Joe Biden won this election,’” the court filing continues. “'We’re not going to buy it. We’re going to stand and fight for America, for Donald Trump. We’re not going to let the Democrats steal this election.'"

In June 2021, the Michigan Democratic Party promoted video footage that appeared to show Kelley shouting “Come on, let’s go! This is it! This is– this is war, baby!” as he moved toward the Capitol building.
Meshawn Maddock, a co-chair of the state Republican Party, tweeted criticism of the arrest Thursday, writing: "Do people really get their homes raided and arrested in front of their children over a misdemeanor? Democrats are out in force weaponizing our justice system and targeting their political opponents."

Kelley supporter Brenda Wodarski: “Why now? Jan. 6? People need to look at that footage. It was the most beautiful surreal experience ever out there. And people are seeing what the news wants you to see.”
Supporter Jo DeMarco: “Why does the FBI find it necessary to arrest a person who is trying to do good for our entire state?”

What was that about "half of all Americans are below average intelligence" again?

What was that about "half of all Americans are below average intelligence" again?

I tell that to every one of my university classes on the first day, to make a point about learning and getting smarter, and about 1/3 of any individual class manages a chuckle or a flicker of recognition.

This morning John Solomon broke a blockbuster story, based on documents he managed to obtain, that Trump authorized at least 20,000 National Guard troops at least four days before the January 6 riot but Pelosi turned down every request to use the troops.

https://justthenews.com/government/...onal-guard-capitol-four-days-jan-6-riots-memo

Tonight on Hannity, Solomon will discuss another newly obtained document that shows that the FBI warned the capitol police that they had intel that some of the protestors planned on storming the Capitol and committing violent actions, and that this information was conveyed to one of Sen. Schumer's aides but Schumer did nothing about it.

So it seems that Pelosi and Schumer may have actually wanted to allow radical Trump protestors to storm the Capitol so they could blame the riot on Trump, when it turns out that Trump was the one who approved 20,000 NG troops to protect the Capitol, that Pelosi and Schumer were the ones who rejected all requests to deploy troops, and that Schumer sat on intel that there some protestors would storm the Capitol.

Did you even do a cursory fact check? It seems the number has grown from 10,000 to 20,000.

Is that like Rump's claim the election was stolen?

Since this contradicts multiple other sources I doubt this is true. Not only that, why are we only hearing about this today? That alone is suspicious.

It's not difficult to do a fact check...assuming, of course, that 'facts' are important to you:

There is no evidence that Trump made a request for 10,000 National Guard troops to be deployed for a rally he held that preceded the Jan. 6 attack on the U.S. Capitol.

There is no evidence that Pelosi denied such a request.

Our Ruling
Trump said he requested "10,000 National Guardsmen" for his Jan. 6 rally, but Pelosi "rejected it."

A news article reported that Trump told the acting defense secretary the night before the rally that he thought 10,000 National Guard troops would be needed, but he did not make any clear request for 10,000 troops.

Pelosi’s spokesman said she was not consulted about the National Guard before Jan. 6. And the former House sergeant-at-arms, who reported to Pelosi, testified that he had no discussions about National Guard troops with any congressional leaders before Jan. 6.

Without evidence to back it, we rate Trump’s statement False

https://www.politifact.com/factchec...of-trump-requested-10000-guard-troops-jan-6-/

In other words, Trump lied. I know...I'm as shocked as the rest of you.

Are you on drugs?
Can I have some?

You've been fooled again.

"Fool me once, shame on you; fool me twice, shame on me."

Just last week, newly released records in Arizona show that Maricopa County counted 19,000 invalid ballots. Given that Biden only "won" Arizona by 11,000 votes, that act of election fraud alone may have changed the outcome and wrongly awarded the state to Biden.

In case you're wondering, Just the News is a news organization recently started by veteran journalist John Solomon, formerly at The Hill.
