I read one article on the Sacramento shooting, and the article noted it was "among the worst" in the city's history.

The Sacramento police chief said there were officers nearby and were on the scene almost immediately. She also said most of the shooting was caught on a surveillance camera set up by Sacramento PD.
This must be one of those "over policed" neighborhoods I keep hearing about.

I'm surprised he hasn't posted here since Sacramento is his hometown.
Yeah, it would really suck if there were no cops around and the suspects were able to get away unidentified after committing such a heinous crime.

CNN says police have arrested a suspect.

A lot of these bozos carry even in their boats, and the stories they tell about them brandishing weapons because "someone looked suspicious" are frightening.Beginning September 1, 2021, HB1927 made it legal in Texas for most people 21 or over to carry a handgun in a holster without a permit both openly and/or concealed. This law modified the previous open carry law from 2016 by eliminating the requirement to have a license to carry.
I don't see racial issues with guns.
