The US is failing to keep up. Clearly, to defend against this kind of indiscriminate blasting the Good, Law Abiding Citizens must all be issued area effect weapons. Grenades, at the very least. Thermobaric bombs in the rougher parts of town.

Yeah, it would really suck if there were no cops around and the suspects were able to get away unidentified after committing such a heinous crime.

Can't say much, except our new chief of police, the first women to hold the job, has been handed a hot potato after only ten days in office. That the shooters got away, unusual in this kind of mass shooting, is putting intense pressure on her.
BTW I am not the only Sacramentan who is a regular here.

Seems to be a slower firing rate than the the Bootlegged Glock "SWITCH" auto pistols
recovered in the Detroit, Chicago vicinity. Since the "Switches" needed to convert the
Glock pistol from single round fire to fully automatic rapid firing pistol are being bought
on websites and delivered by courier, they be nationwide by summertime.

Yeah, that happens sometimes in drive-by shootings, the perps don't stick around and wait to be arrested.

While hospitalized, he remains under police supervision. He was taken into custody Tuesday morning and charged with possession of a firearm by a prohibited person and possession of a machine gun.

Martin has a criminal history dating back to 2013, the Sacramento Bee reported Tuesday. He was recently serving a 10-year prison sentence for domestic violence and assault with great bodily injury when he was released despite a plea last year from the Sacramento County District Attorney's office advising otherwise, the Bee reported.

I'm seriously disliking (most) rap myself, but that seems a bit extreme ;)
 
The Sacramento shooting was not a mass shooting, according to some, because it possibly involved "gang violence."

Some of the at least five shooters had connections to street gangs.

The good news is most people on this forum can now go back to ignoring the 122 mass shootings that have already occurred this year and wait for the next white spree shooter to express their moral indignation.
 
Why would I express indignation to a white shooter? More like thank goodness. If it were a Japanese magical girl, then we'd all be <bleep>ed :p

Beginning September 1, 2021, HB1927 made it legal in Texas for most people 21 or over to carry a handgun in a holster without a permit both openly and/or concealed. This law modified the previous open carry law from 2016 by eliminating the requirement to have a license to carry.

You want to read some scary stuff then come visit the fishing forum I hang out at. A lot of these bozos carry even in their boats, and the stories they tell about them brandishing weapons because "someone looked suspicious" are frightening.

I call these guys out every so often, but threads are closed if things get heated, plus I don't go there to argue. Our gun culture is so ******* stupid it's hard for me to wrap my head around it.

I don't see racial issues with guns. The only common denominator in all shootings is the gun.
