Maria Butina's popped up again... on the anti-gun side, this time.

On a special Saturday edition of Russian propaganda talk show Vremya Pokazhet, Maria Butina condemns the Kyiv authorities for handing out rifles because "people don't know how to handle them and a child might be killed at home"

It's like the public know what a shower of **** our "leaders" are and have a better understanding of what appeasing dictatorships to keep the gravy train steady leads to.
 
Ukraine to free all incarcerated prisoners with military experience to help with the war effort - General Prosecutor’s Office in Kiev.

Authorities will also take into account “military experience, honors and remorse”.

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky has said he has spoken with Belarus leader Alexander Lukashenko, but didn't give any details of what was discussed.

As we reported earlier (see 08:02 GMT post), Russia said a delegation had arrived in Belarus - ostensibly for talks with Ukraine.
But Mr Zelensky rejected the offer saying talks in Minsk could have been possible if Russia had not attacked Ukraine from Belarusian territory.
But he said he remained open to negotiations in other locations.

Zelensky is updating people on the situation regularly and even appearing on video from Kyiv.

What about Putin? Skulking in his palace?

Mussolini was both shot and hung up, but not from a lamppost, at least it doesn't look like it judging by the photo on Wikipedia.

Given that the Western governments are targeting Russian oligarchs and their businesses, I think Putin is more likely to end up being shot and then being incorporated into the foundations of a Moscow apartment block.

Some people are saying the C130 flew to Poland, did not land, and returned to UK. I tried verifying on adsbexchange but I'm not confident I'm reading it correctly. It seems to have done 2 flights to Poland that day. 1 obviously it did not land the second I can see it went low over Warsaw but unclear (to me) if it landed or not.

The mayor of Ukraine’s capital Kyiv has said there are no Russian troops in the city, as it continues to defend itself from attacks.

Vitali Klitschko said that “military, law enforcement and territorial defence” officials were continuing to “detect and neutralise saboteurs”.
As we reported earlier, people living in Kyiv are under orders to stay indoors until Monday, with warnings from authorities that anyone venturing out "will be considered members of sabotage groups of the enemy".

BBC producer Kathy Long said Sunday dawned cold and quiet in Kyiv, with police, the military and armed volunteers the only people visible on the streets.
In the message on his Telegram channel on Sunday, Klitschko said that since the start of Russia’s invasion, nine civilians had been “lost or killed” in Kyiv, including one child.

Why would it fly all the way to Poland and not land?

UK is supplying equipment and it is going by air.

One claim is that the flight that BJ attended was a publicity stunt. If I read the above site correctly there were 2 flights by that plane that day. One was a loop at 22:24 that approached Krakow but did not land and the other at 00:19 that at the least flew low over Warsaw and may have landed. I'm not sure enough of the website to give a confident answer.

Yes,
After the PM's photo op it flew to Poland but didn't land & was heard on Short-wave radio asking an ASCOT controller to phone Brize Norton to find out its orders?
