Cont: Corona Virus Conspiracy Theories Part IV

Status
Not open for further replies.
No. Once again, just because fact-checkers have not replied to you in person does not mean their fact-checking is at all suspect.

My request wasn't for them to reply to me personally but to respond publicly. Surely, they need to respond to criticism of the science put forward made by people who speak authoritatively with letters after their name, not uneducated "conspiracy theorists". That's their job, isn't it? And what we see is "easy" debunking of Judy Mikovits (that I could do myself) by Sciencemag but careful avoidance of the better criticism of what's been put forward. We hear the endless mantra of "dangerous misinformation" but if they're not out there debunking it why shouldn't those poor easily misled citizens out there believe what their critics are saying? Why shouldn't they believe them when they seem to make some sense?

And, of course, we DO see an attempt, a single attempt by PolitiFact who are left without a further response when their attempt at debunking is counter-refuted.

Just to emphasise: I am heartily sick of your repeated and dishonest attempts to misrepresent me. Please stop doing this.
Your blog is full of complete rubbish. I did not 'recoil': I read some of the articles, concluded they were rubbish, and left your site, never to return.

I'd appreciate a specific claim of what's rubbish Cosmic Yak .. but I guess you won't go back to look and you can't remember anything specific, no?

Of all the ludicrous things you have come up with, this has to be the outright winner.
Complete and utter bilge. I'm not even going to bother going through it point by point, because you won't listen (this is the second time you've posted this poisonous bilge, I note), and most other posters here will see through it just as I did.

No need to go through it point by point. One point will be sufficient. I think what I put forward credibly casts suspicion on the authenticity of the article ... but you just give me one point why it doesn't. You cannot simply cry "rubbish".

You still have not presented a single shred of evidence for the alleged fraud you keep going on about. I think it's time for you to admit you don't have any.

I think I have but you don't accept it. I now wish to go through it point by point and I'm starting with the unscientific nature of the suspicion of a "novel" virus. I'm arguing it out ... still going at this point.

AHAHAHAAHAHAHAAH

Again you gave the same helpless answers :)

Suppose I am a professor in this field. Also, suppose I am not an expert in this field. What will change.

Just as experts in the field of religion always have the wrong religious belief, experts in the field of medicine have the wrong understanding of medicine.

Also there, those who are professors in this field, who have the same opinion as me. You know this too. But this time you take refuge in the erroneous understanding that "whatever the majority of experts in this field decides is right". Again, this is the same perversion in the field of religion.

A person is brainwashed in his area of expertise and adopts what he is taught like a robot. cannot freely question. It becomes a religious dogma. Therefore, experts often do not know the truth in their field. In this field, people who are not brainwashed and question freely can find the truth.

That is why it is very difficult to explain the true Islam in the Qur'an to a clergyman. Because he was brainwashed at school, wrong religious mockery was imposed on him. Likewise, it is very difficult to explain real medicine to a doctor of medicine because he was brainwashed at school, and the wrong understanding of medicine was given to him. He cannot question, reason, think freely. It is like a robot.

This is the case in every field. History, medicine, science, astronomy, astrophysics, politics, psychology, psychiatry...

Do not hand over your forehead to anyone else in any area. Question by yourself, reason yourself, research yourself and find the truth yourself.

Maybe the people you call experts were trained with wrong information from the very beginning? Or maybe they got the right teaching from the start but the malicious people at the top who commanded them maybe started giving them wrong commands later on? Or, right and wrong were intertwined in their teaching from the very beginning, but they can't go beyond their education because they are rote robots themselves? Or did they impose a completely heretical teaching on them from the very beginning?

As soon as you surrender your mind to someone else, the whole society is easily led to perversion by the chain of command and command from above. They make you adopt the wrong religion and make you a pagan, give you the wrong medical treatment and destroy you, give you the wrong psychology solution and turn you into a perverted person, give you the wrong political solution and you will be destroyed by society.

Stop worshiping the experts.
And stop worshiping what the majority says.

Experts can be completely wrong.
Majority, societies can also be completely wrong.

It's just ridiculous that you see this in the field of religion, but make the same mistake in other fields. I'm telling you, you are no different from bigots in the field of religion. they also agree with the majority, and they agree with what the experts in the field of religion say. You are exactly the same. This is how Almighty God brings you face to face with yourself. It shows you that you are no different from those religious bigots. In this way, you will not have the right to object in afterlife. You are hurting yourself and your loved ones and you have no excuses.

Peace

Reputation matters

I cannot fight so many fires all at once and I'd really like to pre-empt unnecessary argument so I'm just going to argue selectively.

Kary Mullis has a reputation, doesn't he? Well he has a couple. We might say he was an eminent Nobel-prize winning scientist with some funny ideas.

I have enormous respect for Kary Mullis and what he says about no proof of HIV causing AIDS makes perfect sense. We all know what first led him to question the claim, don't we? He was writing a proposal and he wanted to find a reference for HIV being the probable cause of AIDS and he couldn't find one. That's pretty shocking, isn't it? No paper showing HIV caused AIDS. And then when I think about it, I haven't heard about AIDS for years. Now I haven't really looked but I wouldn't be surprised if it's true that HIV doesn't cause AIDS and there's no need for people to be concerned about passing on HIV via sex to others in fear that they will infect them with HIV and that that infection will result in AIDS. He wasn't the only eminent scientist, Peter Duesberg was too and quite a number of others.

I was curious when he debunked climate change because that's something I have looked at but when I looked at his debunking I could see it wasn't well researched at all.

Enormous respect but easy to see where he's wrong.

I have no interest in reputation, I'm only interested in content.

Blue Mountain, will you look at the YouTube clip that is clearly put out by the hospital, Chelsea and Westminster, or not? Because if you will not look at my sources then I won't continue to argue with you. YouTube isn't even a "source" in my opinion, it's simply a platform where there's loads of stuff that's credible and loads of stuff that isn't. To not look at something simply because it's on YouTube is utter absurdity.

Peace

I think though so much of the time there are maverick experts calling out the "respected" experts but they're ignored. There are numerous doctors and scientists criticising the pandemic narrative in a variety of ways. Some accept the pandemic, for example, but reject the measures for various reasons, some accept the virus but don't accept it's at pandemic levels while others, of course, say the whole thing's one big scam.

Certainly not all scientists, doctors and other health professionals are onboard with the narrative.

Clearly neither my sister nor I ever worked as NHS nurses, nor my cousin, and and nor did my parents work as NHS physios...

As there are no videos on You Tube showing us at work.

My whole service clearly didn't exist, nor the cardiology service which currently keeps me alive...

(PS Do I need to mention the laws we have on consent, which includes consent to be filmed, or on patient confidentiality, which includes use of any identifiable data? But, no doubt, they don't exist as they aren't on You Tube either.)

Are you addressing this comment to me, Carrot Flower King? I've vaguely seen your name but not looked at your posts. Have you been a nurse throughout the covid period and worked in ICU/covid wards? I have two friends in Australia who are nurses who don't buy the covid narrative, however, they don't work on wards. And do NHS nurses put bodies in body bags because I've been advised they don't.

We have an infectious disease. We have death rates associated with this disease that haven't been seen for about a century in many countries. We have lung images associated with the disease that radiographers had not previously seen.

https://www.itnonline.com/content/photo-gallery-how-covid-19-appears-medical-imaging

We have SEM images of the SARS-COV-2 virus attacking human cells

https://www.niaid.nih.gov/news-events/novel-coronavirus-sarscov2-images

We have a genetic test for this virus. We see people hospitalised with the symptoms associated with COVID-19 and testing positive for SARS-COV-2. This is in multiple countries, many of which are mutually-antagonistic - for example, I don't really think that the US, China, Iran, Italy, the United Kingdom, hell, even Russia (although they undercount by a factor of at least 2) and the medics in those countries are all conspiring to make it seem as though they were struggling with Covid.
----------------------------
As for the tik-tok videos.

So what? There have been lulls in the pandemic. People who have experienced a dangerous, stressful period need to let off steam, and videos don't take much time, but help express what they are doing.

Stephen Bustin interview concerning quantitative PCR

Kary Mullis has a reputation, doesn't he? Well he has a couple. We might say he was an eminent Nobel-prize winning scientist with some funny ideas.
I quoted Professor Stephen Bustin in regards to Kary Mullis in comment #3481. Given that no one has a more sterling reputation in quantitating nucleic acids than Dr. Bustin does, I suggest reading what he had to say.

There have been several variations floating around on social media on what Dr. Mullis allegedly said or believed; at least one of them ascribed comments made by another person to him. Those interested can read here.

Well, two things we get right from the horse's mouth are:

1. Fauci doesn't know anything

2. PCR can't tell you if you're sick
Pre-emption: Some people say he was talking about HIV when he made this statement. Yes, he was but the statement in relation to PCR and sickness is simply a general statement, just because he happened to be talking about HIV doesn't mean the statement applies to HIV only, it's a general statement, "PCR blah blah ... it doesn't tell you that you're sick and it can't tell you if the thing you ended up with really was going to hurt you"

And if any "skeptic" is interested, this video just popped up after the last one, showing Fauci saying any PCR run higher than 35 cycles is not valid with a number of PCR tests being shown that run higher than that number.

Without expertise, images mean nothing. We are shown electron micrographs by scientists that purport to show isolated virus particles but on questioning the scientists admit they don't.

There is no point showing me stuff put out by scientists that purports to show this or that. I cannot judge. My argument is restricted to whatever mainstream science has put out that has been criticised by authoritative people or things that I personally can judge from my own knowledge.

We have a genetic test for this virus. We see people hospitalised with the symptoms associated with COVID-19 and testing positive for SARS-COV-2. So they tell us just as they've told us there is PCR test to test for the virus which is clearly not fit for purpose.

It is not just a discrepancy between the story and the video. The story itself has anomalies. Why does a scary, generic-looking image of a woman wearing PPE that is not what hospital staff wear headlining the article? Why are the other images so generic looking too?

This is not the only story that's suspect. I've looked at quite a few hospital videos with problems. There's the Tara Jane Langston video in an ICU already cited which commenters on the Daily Mail article didn't find convincing, just ordinary people who'd been in an ICU themselves.

You cannot judge. [ETA: by your own admission you cannot judge]

I also am not an expert. However I am numerate and can analyse publicly-available data.

For example what caused the abnormal deaths in April 2020 in England and Wales?

[IMGW=640]https://i.snipboard.io/mtDVzI.jpg[/IMGW]

Why did it coincide with Covid mentioned on the death certificate?

Why has the Covid death rate fallen per infection, amongst those who have been vaccinated but not others?

In many countries of the world, corona vaccine was given to one-month-old babies "accidentally under the name". And the doses of vaccines given to these babies and children were always the same. Doctors who did this in Turkey said that this practice was very successful and there was no problem in babies. And they "accidentally" vaccinated so many babies with the corona vaccine that they had a "great statistic".

After these statements made on television, that is, after these secret experiments were revealed, there was a great public reaction and an investigation was started:

https://www.hurriyetdailynews.com/probe-launched-over-claims-baby-mistakenly-given-covid-jab-168117

Did you even read that article? It says one baby was alleged to have been accidentally given a COVID-19 vaccine.

The article does not support your claim at all, which was that COVID-19 vaccines are intentionally and routinely given to babies, and at the same dosage as adults. The claim you presented is still ********. Even if you just credulously accepted and repeated this false claim without investigating its veracity, by continuing to repeat this claim after being shown that it is false you are making yourself a liar.

Suppose I am a professor in this field. Also, suppose I am not an expert in this field. What will change[?]
The former is quite a stretch, and the latter is not a matter of supposition. You are not an expert in this field. You are, in fact, profoundly ignorant of this subject, and even the most basic scientific concepts.

So the answer to your question is, everything would change. Your ignorance is not even remotely equivalent to the expertise of actual scientists and doctors.

To paraphrase something funny I heard recently, you're like someone who thinks that cars are propelled by a chimpanzee under the hood turning a crank, and when you press the throttle pedal it pokes the chimpanzee with a stick and he turns the crank faster, and now you're trying to tell me that your beliefs about automobiles are equal to the expertise of ASE master mechanics.

Just as experts in the field of religion always have the wrong religious belief, experts in the field of medicine have the wrong understanding of medicine.
Religions are all made up, superstitious fantasies. Yes, those experts are wrong, but so are you.

Medicine is a science, like the physics that have granted ignorant bumpkins the ability to instantly share their thoughts on how science doesn't work with people all around the globe.

Also there, those who are professors in this field, who have the same opinion as me.
The same opinion is another stretch. But you can find a tiny fringe group in any profession who hold ridiculous beliefs.

A person is brainwashed in his area of expertise and adopts what he is taught like a robot. cannot freely question. It becomes a religious dogma. Therefore, experts often do not know the truth in their field. In this field, people who are not brainwashed and question freely can find the truth.
So we need to listen to idiots who know nothing about extremely complicated subjects that take years of concentrated study to learn.

By the way, that device in your hand, or perhaps on a desk, that you're currently using to instantly communicate with people all over the globe would beg to differ with you.

Do not hand over your forehead to anyone else in any area. Question by yourself, reason yourself, research yourself and find the truth yourself.
Translation: "Don't let other people tell you what to think. Let me tell you what to think. Tell me I'm special and that I know more than anyone else about everything."

To sustain belief in absurd conspiracy theories or crackpot ideas, it isn't enough for believers to reject mountains of evidence. They must also portray molehills as mountains.

There are people much more authoritative than I talking about the unscientific suspicion of a "novel" virus, biochemist, Dr David Rasnick, and medical doctor, Dr Sam Bailey
Dr Sam Bailey "is a medical doctor but does not currently show on the Medical Council website as having a practising certificate." Dr Sam Bailey also denies the existence of viruses.

Petra knows that, yet Petra continues to describe Dr Sam Bailey as "authoritative". Which tells us Petra's search for authorities who agree with Petra's beliefs has become so desperate that Petra must regard this YouTube personality (who, according to her own lawyer, is "not practising medicine online" any more than she is in real life) as more authoritative than millions of medical doctors who are practicing medicine in the real world while trying their best to deal with the real-world pandemic.

Twenty-some years ago, South Africa's President Thabo Mbeki's actions with respect to the HIV/AIDS crisis led to the unnecessary deaths of about three hundred thousand people. In one of those actions, Mbeki appointed a Presidential AIDS Advisory Panel that included several scientists who denied that HIV causes AIDS. One of those panelists, Dr David Rasnick, did not just deny that HIV causes AIDS; Rasnick "argued very consistently that AIDS does not exist and that AIDS would disappear instantaneously if all HIV testing was outlawed and the use of anti-retroviral drugs was terminated."

But Petra thinks Dr David Rasnick is "authoritative".

Kary Mullis has a reputation, doesn't he? Well he has a couple. We might say he was an eminent Nobel-prize winning scientist with some funny ideas.

I have enormous respect for Kary Mullis and what he says about no proof of HIV causing AIDS makes perfect sense.
Later in life, Kary Mullis acknowledged the fact that AIDS is caused by retroviruses, although Mullis couldn't quite bring himself to admit that HIV is the specific retrovirus that causes AIDS, a discovery that earned Françoise Barré-Sinoussi and Luc Montagnier a Nobel Prize in 2008.

Petra should be aware of those facts, as they have been pointed out in this thread. Yet Petra continues to ignore Mullis's acknowledgement that retroviruses cause AIDS, while touting Mullis's Nobel Prize (which was not specifically related to HIV/AIDS or to SARS-CoV-2/COVID-19) as though it somehow conveys more credibility than the Nobel Prize awarded to scientists who actually discovered that HIV causes AIDS.

Ignoring facts such as those while misrepresenting statements made by scientists, and exaggerating the authority and credibility of sources that promote crackpot conspiracy theories, is what crackpot conspiracy theorists do.

Which, I assume, is why Petra keeps doing it.

I will keep arguing this point until I get it agreed that the grounds given for suspicion of a "novel" virus are unscientific because they clearly are.
There you have it, folks: Petra will keep arguing until everyone agrees with Petra.

That's what crackpot conspiracy theorists do.

Which, I assume, is why Petra is doing it.

To sustain belief in absurd conspiracy theories or crackpot ideas, it isn't enough for believers to reject mountains of evidence. They must also portray molehills as mountains.

Sam Bailey qualified as an MD and she was a co-presenter of the medical myth-busting series, The Checkup. She was also a pioneering provider of tele-health services pre-covid.

She was generally highly regarded (and still is by a number of people) until she went rogue on covid.

Similarly, for Dr David Rasnick.

They are qualified people. Please don't simply push out the 100% expected rejection by mainstream sources.

You cannot judge. [ETA: by your own admission you cannot judge]

I also am not an expert. However I am numerate and can analyse publicly-available data.

For example what caused the abnormal deaths in April 2020 in England and Wales?

[IMGW=640]https://i.snipboard.io/mtDVzI.jpg[/IMGW]

Why did it coincide with Covid mentioned on the death certificate?

An aggressive drug trial, Recovery, was run around that time which may serve to explain it. Covid has been shown to be put on death certificates where people were suffering from other health issues.
https://www.recoverytrial.net/

This is an article in France-Soir talking about the overdose levels in that drug trial and another, Solidarity, suggesting that people were killed during these trials.
https://www.francesoir.fr/politique...verdosage-two-clinical-trials-acts-considered

Also, changes in aged-care treatment may have precipitated deaths. When you implement all kinds of measures in response, there is always the possibility that these measures will have negative "side-effects". The banning of visitors to their loved ones in hospital may well increase mortality, mightn't it? The lowering of morale experienced by the patient and so on.

Why has the Covid death rate fallen per infection, amongst those who have been vaccinated but not others?

There can be all kinds of answers to this question. I cannot necessarily explain every anomaly that may seem to support the covid narrative, I don't have enough knowledge. But what I can do is point out sufficient problems with the narrative to show it's false.

So when Kary Mullis asked for the paper that showed HIV caused AIDS and couldn't find it, what was the problem? You mean it was there but he just didn't find it?

What is your explanation for AIDS seeming to have disappeared? Everyone's on AZT, everyone's practising safe sex?

There you have it, folks: Petra will keep arguing until everyone agrees with Petra.

So how do you refute the claim that the suspicion of a "novel" various based on 44 cases of pneumonia of "unknown origin" in the highly-polluted city of Wuhan is unscientific?

I only want people to agree on a clear fact but if you can show how it isn't a clear fact, I'm all ears.

Ah, OK, that'll be my problem then: Storms Dudley, Eunice and Franklin, not to mention just general winter, have kinda put paid to hot days.

Even when we went down to Norfolk a month ago it was pretty chilly and breezy.
What do you reckon to my chances up in Harris and North Uist in early May on our corn crake expedition?
Are you surprised?
