Yes. The point is that you have been led astray if you trust govts on 'pandemic' policies. If so, you also trust Bill Gates and his pal Fauci. Bill loves Fauci. You should see the video where Gates is talking about Fauci. Bill lights up and beams when he says "Tony this, and Tony that". Body language too. (I'm not implying gay). It seemed obvious they are closeknit, in the injection business, anyway.

That's not a point - that's an opinion. An opinion for which you only use conspiracy-laden, scientifically ignorant and manipulative sources as references. Yet, in your warped idea of critical thinking, you have rationalized this...how?

In general, I'm not a big fan of RationalWiki- rather too in-your-face scornful for my tastes- but they have this to say about this particular Bubbasource:

It's fine to be sceptical of government sources, and to use your critical thinking skills to determine the extent to which they can trusted. I'm sure all of us here do that, I know I do. It's your assumption that obvious liars and crackpots can be trusted completely, without any such sceptical verification, that's so puzzling. Why can you not grasp that such sources are even more likely to lead you astray?

First, you still haven't actually disproved, or even disputed, Bruto's rather accurate observation about the "authority" that you'll accept.

Second, you telling others they've been led astray is hysterical. You yourself have insisted that there are alignments of place names on maps (any projection) that prove... something. You've insisted that Trump would be reinstated in the executive office. You've even claimed that the parents of Bill Gates were "eugenisist bigwigs". You've made a lot of claims that are utterly untrue, and the only reason you haven't led anyone astray is that no one here has been stupid enough to believe any of it. And you can't even admit when you're wrong. Your strategy is to simply pretend none of your past claims exist and to ignore all mention of them in the hope that they'll simply disappear.

The point is that you have no clue how government policy is decided in the case of a health emergency. The science comes first, followed by the political decisions what to do about it. It's that reality part that you seem to keep missing -- the science. You think that individual political actors wave their hands and poof a pandemic into existence, bending it to their will. In fact the science is global, and no group of elites control anything.

Bad science and bad political policy certainly do happen. But there are a lot of people with a vested interest in getting it right, and so mistakes get corrected along the way. That's how it works.

Science and reality. You should look into it.

I guess you need to demonize people to prove that demons exist. Sorry, but that doesn't work. Gates and Fauci aren't relevant. They didn't make any of this happen.

You can adore your silly crackpots all you like, but don't continue to make the mistake of thinking that the rest of us are bowing to any authority apart from the evidence and the science.
