Can any of the Swedish citizens who frequent this forum give any insight into the process of having been browbeaten into accepting the findings of the enquiry?

I have a vague memory of Carl Bildt outside my door going on about the bow visor. The next thing I remember is being told to join the JREF forum in preparation for this thread.

That's not Bjorkman; that's the "German experts" (i.e., the manufacturer's hired guns).

Yeah, but I strongly suspect the site is Vixen's source for the 'information'. Her 'hard copy' is pure bollocks - she just doesn't want to admit she got it from Bjorkman.

A few days ago I was bitten by a critter and now the consequent allergic reaction has caused the swelling to grow bigger and bigger. My forehead now looks like a shiny red balloon. I m not feeling very well so may not be around for a day or two.

I'm sorry to hear that. Hope you get better soon and I hope you've sought advice from a pharmacist or doctor.

A propos of nothing*, if I may posit a hypothetical:

LadyFox has (or has access to) a printer.

LadyFox has (or has access to) a digital copy of a document.

LadyFox prints out the digital copy of the document.

Et voila! LadyFox has a 'hard copy' of said document.

Just to be clear, this is (as stated) a purely hypothetical scenario. Any resemblance to posters, living or dead, is purely coincidental.

*and if you believe that, I have a bridge you may be interested in...

You have seen his contract?

Where does it say he has to keep to a deadline even if it will endanger the ship?

Can you show us his contract?

I do have the source but it'll have to wait until I am feeling better.

A contract requiring public transport operators to run on time does not equate to endangering life.

Did you think a passenger ferry could just turn up at any old time?

Why ask me for the hard copy laboratory reports if they are freely available on line to anybody?

You have the same access to resources as myself.

You see, the complete laboratory reports are not available on line.

Only selected quotes from there are there.

You posted as if you had access to the complete reports and in a format where you would have to digitize them by either scanning or photographing them. Probably because you mistook the online report to be a or the laboratory report.

As I said I have the laboratory reports. They are several pages long. Some with dense tables.

We know they don't just 'turn up at any old time'

A contract to run a service is not the same as the contract the captain signs.

Tell us what the source is so we can see for ourselves.

Where does the captain's contract say he has to disregard weather conditions to meet sailing times?

Why would it apply just to him and not to the other captains that were taking storm precautions on that night?

That is just an [understandable] assumption. Probably only holds true if it was a genuine accident, which I am sceptical of, given the passengers had zero time to evacuate.

Why would the evacuation time mean it was not an accident?

There are lots of examples of ships sinking with zero time to evacuate..

What is this source? How do we gat a 'hard copy' of them?
