I made one small change. A Democratic president would be held to account, if not by congress, then at least by their own party.

The Video I posted showed Stewart Rhodes shot his eye out in a Drug deal gone bad, according to his ex wife, I always suspected Stewart was engaged in grift, and Swindling.
His Law Degree was a waste of time and resources, and probably publicly funded, I sure hope he had all his Student loans paid before they put him away for 20 years.
What a waste just think if someone more deserving had taken that class, it might have been of benefit to thousands.
Can't believe so many people fell for his scams I saw though him the Minute he talked about Multiple Bombs in Oklahoma City.

On the plus side we have seen how to properly protest thanks to republicans, you set out to hang the opposition and then it is all good.

Unless a lot of the protesters are people of colour or a member of another minority group - in which case there will be a significant, armed, law enforcement presence - and you'll end up being gunned down well before you get towards your objective.

It's always been Clear that Trump hired personnel fixers to Harras People like Stormy Daniels, Obstructed Justice, and Hid evidence, want to bet he destroyed a bunch of stuff that he didn't want the DOJ, or the January 6th committee to see?

Unfortunately the excuse is already written for Trump taking home classified documents. "Broad power to declassify". Certain people are going to jump on that excuse. Like they already did when he did this while in office.

Is there a process for declassifying that he might have broken? What are "authorized government channels"?

It's a little different - previously he "declassified" information verbally, by blabbing to Russians. This time, if it involves documents, I would think there would be paperwork actually declassifying them. As it is, the documents are probably still marked as classified. I seriously doubt any of this was taken care of properly.
 
Looks like there are gaps in the phone records, per The Hill:

Investigators were unable to find the logs of calls by former President Trump during hours on Jan. 6 when they know he was sometimes on the phone.

Sounds like he might have been using his personal phone, and there is no current evidence of anything being deleted or edited on the logs they've received.

To bad The Big Dog isn't here. Given how he lost his grip over Buttery Mails I can't imagine his reaction to this!

We should remember how incompetent Dump is and how preoccupied he is with his election loss. The reason (I imagine) he had for taking all that stuff to Mar-a-lago is he didn't have time to deal with it before moving out. That was mentioned in news accounts. He most likely believed his obstruction of certifying Biden would be successful and he didn't start packing.

So he rushed out at the last minute, probably shoved a bunch of stuff into boxes, or the papers were already in boxes, and he took them with him believing he could go through them or just destroy them later. But being the lazy ass he is, he never got around to it.

What I wonder is did the National Archives people have a warrant? I suppose they knew the boxes were there because people around Dump spilled the beans. I wonder if they just walked in and got them. If so, was Dump there? Did he have a cow over them being removed? We haven't heard much about his reaction to the boxes being taken.

I’ve seen a lot of people on the Right, and even some on the Left, arguing that Democrats are making too much of an issue over these events. And you know what? I agree.

We should let them off with a light slap on the wrist, like the Bavarian authorities did in the mid-1920s for another group of rabble-rousers. :)
