As to the AfD, I have nothing to do with them. They are very shy at taking a stance against the fascist corona-regime. At least on the leadership and propgram level. There are single people who do, like there are in other parties. And the AfD is far from "fascist" - they of course aren't in a position to be. They are as far-right as Kohl's CDU in the 80s, a niche in the political spectrum that was open thanks to Merkel's work when they founded themselves. There's the old saying of Franz-Josef Strauss (CSU) "right of me is only a wall". No more. If you want "far-right" German parties, there's the NPD, "The Right" and "Der III. Weg". All completely fringe while the AfD is the strongest party in some federal states (Saxony, Thuringa).

MarkCorrigan, you are treating on thin ice here. Publically wishing ill-will on other people like this will always point back to you more than to them. And I mean that in a carmic, not a "I will report you" kind of way. I know that you will now scream "WOO!" but I recommend you to try to deal with your intense fear of death. A world champion kickboxer has died from complications caused by COVID-19 just weeks after he discharged himself from the hospital. Frederic ‘The Undertaker’ Sinistra, 41, died at his home in Belgium earlier this month, according to local outlets. An unvaccinated heavyweight fighter, Sinistra refused to use the term COVID-19. His coach, Osman Yigin, said he’d forced the athlete into the hospital after he contracted the “little virus,” as Sinistra liked to call it. From inside an intensive care unit in Liège, Sinistra posted updates on social media, maintaining, “A warrior never abdicates!!!!!! I will come back even stronger,” even as he acknowledged the inflammation in his lungs was 33 times greater than a healthy level. He went home days later and reportedly began to treat himself with oxygen. His partner announced his death on his Facebook page on Dec. 16.

A man who admitted stalking former BBC Breakfast presenter Louise Minchin and her daughter has been sentenced to two years and eight months in jail.

Carl Davies, 44, was due to stand trial but later changed his plea.

Davies, of Flint, Flintshire, admitted causing alarm or distress to both Louise and her daughter Mia in July 2020 by posting intimidating comments on Instagram.

Does anyone else have any thoughts as to whether the world's medical science community is too dumb to figure out that it's just the flu and people are dying of hysterical delusions, or if they're all part of an evil empire of deception and fully committed to the hoax?

Again, both alternatives seem pretty ******* stupid to me. But if a self-declared genius thinks otherwise, I should like to know how either scenario actually works.

Argumentum ad populum? The numbers don't mean they're right. The videos you show are no better than religious arguments citing numbers of adherents as support for the truth of a religious belief. You need to present logical arguments that those people in the videos are right, not just that they believe.

This is a thread about conspiracy theories about COVID-19. The ones you've been pushing require that millions of experts worldwide are either all grossly inept compared to a bunch of untrained laymen on the internet, or are all fully aware of the deception and fully committed to the hoax. I want to know which you think is the correct explanation, or if you think both explanations apply to all the world's experts.

Are you afraid to address this issue for some reason?
 
Bad news from Texas (via twitter) - a bunch of the anti-vaccine people caught Covid at an in-person event, and they are now claiming to be infected with Anthrax by their enemies.

David Clements is claiming that Joe Oltmann, Jovan Pulitzer and “a dozen” others that were at the Reawaken America tour are “suffering from symptoms related to an anthrax attack”

If the tour sounds familiar, it’s because Lin Wood’s been feuding with the organizer, Clay Clark.

One defining feature of a CT is that it make no sense. One can expect the conspiracist, when challenged, to continue to double down beyond all reason. There seems to be no point where this becomes too ridiculous for them.

This thread is a good example.

Of course, the fact that the symptoms of anthrax infection are nothing like the symptoms of Sars Cov 2 will not have occurred these charter members of the Stupidati!

According to this obituary Jan died on December 17, 2021. Jan was an extreme social media anti-vaxxer, as you'll see. He and 20 of his family members gathered for Thanksgiving, and out of those 20 family members 8 came down with COVID. Two of the 8 had to go on supplemental oxygen and another 2 were ventilated, including Jan here who died. I'm trying to track down the others. This was reported by a family member who attended that Thanksgiving get together but thankfully she and her family were vaccinated.

I would imagine it was extremely fearful being intubated due to the virus you actively minimized.

This isn't celebrating COVID deaths as one interlocutor claimed, it is pointing out the rank pig-ignorance of anti-vax disinformation, and the tragedy of the death and destruction that is causes.

It seems that the major media are still framing the parameters of debate, determining the boundaries of discussion.

What is deemed to be debatable now are such things as "Are masks effective against the omicron strain? Which boosters are more effective against omicron, and so on.

This seems akin to religionists arguing about how many angels can dance on the head of a pin rather than debating whether there are such things as angels.
