Yep.
There is of course an investigation into whether the party that BJ and minister assured us never took place, actually did take place.
I predict such an enquiry will mean ministers are no longer in a position to comment while that enquiry is on going. The investigation will be on going until the outcome can be burried under more bad news.

So she resigned. What about Rees-Mogg? He was on the video behaving in exactly the same way.
 
Notice that The Sun hasn't had a single front page story on the party fiasco or the **** up over Afghanistan. Today they are leading with a story about last weeks storm.

Considering he didn't know who'd coughed up for the gold wallpaper and the like at Downing Street and he didn't seem to know who had covered holiday expenses a couple of times, not to mention that he doesn't seem to know how many bairns he has, nor what chickens actually eat...Nor what mask-wearing rules apply in hospitals...

It's nearly as long a list what BlowJob doesn't know as what Raaaaaaaaaab doesn't know.
 
I'm still trying to get my head around why someone would resign for laughing at not attending a fictional party.
 
This could be all a cunning plan.

Have a secret party.

Leak news of it later, after restrictions have been eased, but it looks like they may need reinstated.

Don't bother with new regulations* as resulting hoo-ha will mean lots of people will ignore them.

Have another party to celebrate your cunning.

* - With the implication that more money would have to be given out (furlough mk ii)

First the government lie about a party at Downing St. Now the Met Police lie that there is no evidence of a party at Downing St.

There are detailed records of everyone who was inside Downing St that night and how long they were there for and why they were there. It is one of the most policed buildings in the world.

The police should start by interviewing Allegra Stratton, who, if she is the decent law-abiding person she is trying to suggest she is, will proved the first statement about that nights party.

Allegra Stratton has had a privileged life. She’s never had an empty food cupboard or empty bank account and she’s never had a door slammed in her face. She knows who the Vote Leave cabal are fine well, and she was happy to hitch her cart 2 them. Sympathy for her in minus figures
 
I've never been in this thread before, but I happened to have on BBC World News, and also saw a rather lengthy segment on CNN -- something about a Christmas party? I'm rather jealous that that seems to be the most scandalous thing that's gone on in your politics for a while.

Maybe we can lend you some of ours. (from the US) :P

It's not so much* the most scandalous, as much as it is the most recently revealed.



*for 'so much' read 'even slightly'.

I'm reading that some bookies have installed the Lib Dems as favourite for next week's by election in N. Shropshire. If they did win it I'm in no doubt it would spell the end for that tosser Johnson. His end might be well nigh even without it.
