I am not religious, but I do recall the case. I think it is a little different than what I am talking about, and here is why: Hobby Lobby has a health insurance policy with certain benefits being restricted, due to Hobby Lobby's religious views. However, everyone gets the same insurance, no matter their religious beliefs. If they were providing different tier polices, based upon religious beliefs, that would be a major issue, imo.
I am referring to a situation where people might be treated differently, based upon their affiliations with certain social or political causes. I don't have a problem with such rules as, "no political or social agenda clothing". I have an issue when the company is very tolerant of popular leftist (or right) views, and openly shuns those who have alternative views. Or, when the rules are enforced in a seemingly biased manner.
Now, that being said, I don't feel there are grounds for a legal case at my workplace. And, of course, I can choose a different company if it really bothers me that much. It's just my personal observations, within my own company.
