Sure, no one's heard a thing about him since the election, but what else could possibly explain Biden's slipping popularity? The utter failure to enact any of the things Democrats campaigned on due to sabotage within their own party? The loss of Roe v Wade to a conservative-stacked Supreme Court when the ability to prevent it has been entirely within the Democrats' power for a year, and is in fact in a bill already passed in the House and is sitting in the Senate? The inability to sell "look this is the best you can expect, what do you want, actual progress?" to a disillusioned voting public?

We've heard this before. The Dems have a big problem in that they don't find ways to accommodate racists. They need to do more to welcome racism into the party. And they need to do more chants and insults and celebrate ignorance.

If they could do that, they'd be able to gain more votes.

I'm not pretending to think you said something wildly different from anything you actually said. Read the highlighted part again and tell me that you aren't saying basically to dumb it down: don't be so 'intelligent or eloquent'. Trump's audiences react wildly when he's at his worst: slinging insults and spewing incendiary and false claims. You want us to 'learn' from this. How? By dumbing it down and doing what Trump does. I wish there were a way for posters on ignore not to show up when quoted, too. I'm sure this is technically possible.
 
I would not doubt that some people wish their action of ignoring something or someone could act on the source, but it is not so except for those who are unusually dependent.

Ah, that's the problem with official ignoring - it can be hard to intuit a thread. A certain person remarked on your act of ignoring, which although not specific was probably rightly referring to himself, that you should post your remark in the "cancel culture" thread. I do not doubt that there are many people who consider ignoring tantamount to cancellation, but I think they are quite wrong and in fact that they have a problem.

"Dumb it down" is indeed roughly the same general idea as what I said, allowing for a substantially different emotional angle on it to try to make me look bad.

But that was 3 words out of 70. Starting at the seventh because the first three were just a general intro, there were 64 more which you have conspicuously not defended, and there's nothing left of mine to highlight & say it equates with the other 64... almost as if you chose which parts of your own claims to defend and which to leave alone based on which parts you knew had and hadn't been accurate in the first place.

Jeff Foxworthy and Bill Engvall are in their own way professional orators, and in fact they do so with a fair amount of intelligence and eloquence. They can form complete thoughts and have a point. Heck, Bill has a whole bit about sounding intellectually superior. "Here's your sign."

I don't follow you. Trump lost the election...as expected. There was no complaint at my house. As far as the droning, it is really about how boring it is. From outside of the "group" it just looks like a bunch of monkeys hooping, hollering and slinging poop. Same poop, different day. "Orange man bad, Donnie Depends, Combover, Liar, Stupid". Rinse, wash, and repeat.

At some point you would think the participants might get bored of this. But, amazingly not.
