Matt Gaetz reported to be leaving the House

Upset over being out of the spotlight for too long, Matt Gaetz has decided to latch on to another controversy...

Rep. Matt Gaetz, a Florida Republican, said he believes Kyle Rittenhouse is innocent and he would consider hiring him as a congressional intern...He also decried the sentencing of Jan. 6 rioter Jacob Chansley, 34, who stormed the Capitol wearing a furry headdress with horns.

Because nothing says "congressional intern" more than being a violent weirdo vigilante.

Of course females working in congress will wonder whether they will be hit on by Gaetz or shot at by Rittenhouse. It will be a very confusing time for them.

If acquitted, I can see Kyle's campaign slogan if he ever runs for Rep.:

Rittenhouse for the House! He shoots from the hip!

I expect Fox and Tucker Carlson will turn his head, make him a celebrity. His 15 minutes will end and he'll do something stupid to get back into the spotlight.

Oh well, maybe one of the cougar hosts at Fox will get him laid on the way to his fake celebrity death spiral. I expect Laura Ingram would want him to describe the killings while he loses his virginity with her.
