Cont: The Trump Presidency: Part 28

True, its not surprising for politicians (heck, people in general) to use "I don't recall" when questioned.

I think the big difference here is that Clinton never made any sort of huge claims about how super-intelligent he was. On the other hand, Stubby McBonespurs deserves some extra derision because his boastful claims about "great memory" and "stable genius" conflict with repeated responses of "I don't recall".

I wonder if the press could have goaded him into saying stupid things by asking, “many Democrats are saying that there are hundreds of people who are better basketball players than you, are the Democrats right or are you one of the best basketball players alive?”

As usual, it's all about him. And attacking people he doesn't like.

"Wonderful to see Colin Powell, who made big mistakes on Iraq and famously, so-called weapons of mass destruction, be treated in death so beautifully by the Fake News Media," Trump said in a statement released Tuesday morning. "Hope that happens to me someday. He was a classic RINO, if even that, always being the first to attack other Republicans. He made plenty of mistakes, but anyway, may he rest in peace!"

He hopes he's treated that "beautifully" by the media when he dies.

Long term yeah, but he'll have his martyrs (or people martyring him, I don't know what the 3rd person tense of martyr is) in the beginning.

I doubt that he will. Trump can't be a toxic jackass his whole life and expect to be missed. I predict his grave will be danced on more than anything.

Initially, people were encouraging their dogs to defecate on his Hollywood Walk of Fame star, and they eventually put a barrier around it after repeated vandalism attempts. His grave is going to need walls around it.

Wow!

I never thought about that before, but being able to pee on Trump's grave is something that I (and I expect quite a few other people) are really looking forward to.

:)

Thank you so much 'Armitage72' for the wonderful thought!

His funeral will be like a Mafia funeral. A lot of people will show up to make sure he's really dead. And he'll probably be entombed to a huge mausoleum that will be paid for by his idiot followers, in a solid gold casket.

And a lot of trolls are suddenly going to, by pure coincidence surely, be super-concerned with "civility" about "not speaking ill of the dead" and insist we have a civil debate with them about it.

Considering the way liberals are determined to rehabilitate the reputation of Bush era ghouls, I suspect that they'll be talking about how the new horrible fascist just doesn't measure up to the good ole Trump days.

Trump just has to go on Ellen a few times or take up some cutesy hobbies and all will be forgotten.

If you don't want to risk a vandalism charge, the cemetery could be filled with signs pointing toward his grave.

Always the gentleman, isn't he? At least he's contemplating his demise. Maybe some of the "fake news" outlets should start publishing draft obits, just so he'll know how he'll be remembered.

Has there ever actually been anyone IN government you liked? Or is it all hypothetical people on the sidelines that are morally pure because they've never actually done anything.

I am not sure if this is right thread for this, but I am not sure a whole new thread is worth this, so I am putting it here.

Did you see the comment Trump made about the death of Colin Powell? Here it is:

What a jerk. Classic Trump. What anyone sees in Trump is beyond me.

I hope Donny is treated with the same reverence shown to Osama Bin Laden: cremated and his ashes dumped in the middle of an ocean. Only I don't like the idea of polluting the world's water cycle that much.

The real reason Trump went after Powell was because he was a Black man in a position of authority...something Trump cannot stomach, unless the Black person is a Uncle Tom Tump Butt kisser.
