So is this possible

The reason I asked is because the BCom degree is a Bachelor of Commerce degree. Quite popular in India among guys who don't care much about reading and improving their knowledge base.
Some Irish universities offer them as a generic primary business degree. Though it's abbreviated BComm.

Those Scots sure a contentious people

Tell me about it: I live in Northumberland and they are still trying to claim that Scotland starts at Hadrian's Wall (well, I have heard Wee Eck make that claim a few years back, but I'm not sure if Sturgeon agrees).

Then again, being ignored by Holyrood might be preferable to being ignored by Westminster.

PS Given that the topic of this thread is so far beyond stupid I struggle to see how anything we post can be off topic.

Bcomm is supposed to be the abbreviation of Business Communications.

It is how you are to write letters with only positive words even if dealing with a negative subject. You have all come across examples before. Such as you do not face problems but face challenges. Problems is negative but the word challenges is positive.

"All I want out of life is to be a monkey of moderate intelligence who wears a suit. That's why I've decided to transfer to business school!"

If you think that a Business Communications degree is nothing more than learning to use positive language in negative situations, then one has to wonder if you attended more than a couple of classes on the subject.

You do understand that abbreviations are not identical everywhere in the world, right? Nor is there a ruling that the same or similar abbreviations cannot be used for different purposes.

Or should USA be replaced by the newer USB, in your opinion?

That course was taken here in North America. It seems that the real problem is that the collages have changed a great deal in a very short time spam. Seems the emphasis is on correct political attitudes rather than practical life skills.

You see the problem there is that you’re basing that opinion on sources that have a vested interest in convincing you that’s true, not on actually having been in a classroom recently.

Do you genuinely think that in, say, a civil engineering degree in North America students are taught more about ‘correct political attitudes’ rather than the importance of load bearing properties of materials? If so, you need to have a quiet word with yourself and really think about how you arrive at conclusions.

Plus it seems as if you don’t believe your course gave you practical life skills anyway. A lot of people would agree. Some people think non-STEM education is worthless navel-gazing.

. . . Some people think non-STEM education is worthless navel-gazing.

Exactly.

Much criticism in recent years has been leveled at public schools and state supported colleges in the U.S. which, some claim, are tasked by state legislatures with making graduates "work ready".

The most hyperbolic of this criticism contents that state legislatures are dutifully carrying out the wishes of the business and moneyed classes who, it is claimed, demand they have, annually, a new well trained corps of wage slaves ready for work.

This criticism is given claiming a situation in direct contradiction of The Traveler's perception.

You nailed that the collages from 1970s, about 1970s, way too PC!

Paving the way for the Extra Super PC Collages of today, in North America... it's the end of the world as we know it. And I feel fine...

maga : morons are governing america

A statement resultant from not actually knowing what goes on in classrooms today.

Bollocks.
You are, as usual, utterly wrong.

Utter drivel. Also as usual.

I taught college for a time. Politics had nothing to do with anything I taught.

Now I have a pink, slimy, salty image imposed on my inner eye: a Spam collage.

Who did that? Who's responsible? Who should I hunt down and murder?

Excuse me, Mods, I meant, who should I report? Gotta be a rule against THAT.
