Let's cut to the chase. Yes, there are cases of incest and rape. But that is not the largest demographic for abortion. If you decide to have sex, you have made a choice. Even if using birth control, you know that there is a chance that you may become pregnant.
I don't believe in virgin births, do you? Of course not. I do believe though, that personal accountability is important...and that seems to be a lost concept with some people (not saying you).
Now, all of that being said, I don't support this TX law. Because, I understand the world isn't perfect. And quite simply, 6 weeks is too early for many women to even know they are pregnant.
And yet you consistently argue that abortion is "murder".
Murder is not exactly "emotive" language, imo, when accurate. I mean, how else can one characterize it? Exterminating life? What do you expect? Look at the photo that Stacy provided.
Here's the photo I provided of an 8 week embryo which you insist would be 'murdered' if aborted.

After which you posted this:
Are you saying it is ok to murder that forming child? Gross.
The only way to 100% avoid pregnancy is not to have sex. Unless you're the Virgin Mary, of course. So what you're really saying is that, in order to have "personal accountability " the only really choice a 'responsible' woman could make is not to have any sex at all unless she is willing to give birth.
No, not at all.
I don't see how what you wrote could be interpreted any other way than as I did.
But the focus seems to be on zero accountability. As always.
How so? How is having an unwanted pregnancy having "zero accountability"? The majority of women who get pregnant were actually using birth control at the time or were raped/date raped. I cited that fact previously. How is that having "zero accountability"?
If I felt the way you describe, I wouldn't be against this TX law.
From everything else you've written, you see abortion as murder no matter what state of development. You had a conniption fit when I posted a pic of an 8 week old embryo and asked me if I was sayin it was "OK to murder that forming child? Ew." I'm getting whiplash from watching you say it's murder out of one side of your mouth and then declaring that you're against the TX abortion law out of the other side. So which is it?
