After 40 years of beer soaked, bong hazed failure Menard's options are to double down on the crazy or deal with the terror brought about by a realization of his profound inadequacies.

Those are, likely, just the ones on which the court can make the charges stick.

His first fairy tale is that he and other freemen are not subject to Canada's federal and provincial statutes. One wonders if Bobby even believes this himself since his favorite legal move is to flee the jurisdiction of provincial courts after he is arrested or convicted. Bobby fled Vancouver to avoid a mounting fine for turnstile jumping and he fled Ontario to avoid prosecution for impersonating a peace officer.
