I agree that as long as there are sizeable numbers of people who are not vaccinated Covid-19 will continue to mutate, but will necessarily mutate into more transmittable and more deadly variants?
This. The new strain is more transmittable,NOT any more deadlier.
AND,herd immunity is not binary. The more people that get it, with or without knowing it, or vaxxed, the slower the spread and fewer mutations.
How does the current death toll compare to flu, 2018?
The curve is flat. Far as I am concerned, it's over.
