Arriving at TAM4

OK, arriving on Monday evening at 10:39 PM on Delta flight 2061 from New York.
I was hoping on Tuesday, but that just meant changing flights in Dallas or some such crazyness.

I've offended too many Texans already to feel safe doing that :p
 
OK, for anyone looking for Taxi service, I will be meeting several JREF'ers between 1:15-2:00Pm on Wednesday, 25 Jan, around 10:00pm on the 25th, between 11:30-12:00 Noon on Thursday, 26th, or 1:30-2:00 on the 26th, PM me.

This does not include folks whom I have already PM'ed and made arrangements with to pick up.
 
The Nevada Taxi Cab Authority has an estimated cost from the airport to Stardust of about $15 (doesn't include tip -- sorry no universal service or VAT in the US). Limos are usually immediately available at the airport. The only situation I think they're good for is if you are with a group of 6 or more that really want to stick together or the taxi line is outrageous (usually only on Friday and Saturday nights during the warm months). I did the shuttle once long, long ago and it was not worth the 1.5 - 2 hours of total time waiting for the bus to fill up to the quota and then drop seemingly everyone else off before you. At least with taxis, up to 5 can ride for the price of one, and they're readily available.
 
Is anyone flying out of NYC or back to NYC on the 26th and 29th? It seems cabs in LVA are inexpensive but it may cost me $60 to get to LGA.

Arriving Vegas at 1733 on the 25th. Intend to slither to Stardust and crash. Prepared to share taxi with anyone else arriving at 1730 on the 25th provided you don't mind me sleeping in the backseat.
 
Arriving 11:20pm on Wednesday the 25th, leaving 10:57pm Sunday the 29th, America West thru US Air.

King Merv, or anyone else coming at that time, if you don't have other arrangements yet and wouldn't mind the 20 minutes, I'd love to share a cab, as 2:30am+ in my brain is not the best time for me to take in the sights the shuttle would offer. I'm trying not to check a bag, so I'd be ready to go as soon as I could get to the door.

I screwed up my exit. I have to get a hold of Southwest sometime this week and see if I can fix it. If it's cheap, I'll do it, if not, then so it goes.

I come in on Southwest at 1:15 to Las Vegas on Wednesday.

Edit: n/m That was less painless than I thought, I'm out at 3:00PM on Sunday.

Sorry I didn't respond sooner, the holidays limited my posting.

Split a cab? Sure why not. I can occupy myself for 20 minuetes or so. They have slot machines at the airport right?

I believe they are unable to be overlooked, if I recall correctly. If you run out of cash before I get there because of them, I'll get it out of you in drink form later on! Fair enough?

There's been a change in my itenerary. Evidently, I will now be arriving in Las Vegas at 8:51PM Wednesday, on America West flight 8.


ETA: Scratch that. I've taken the opportunity to use this necessary rescheduling to book an earlier flight. It'll be Flight 64 from Phoenix, arriving at 2:45PM.

Arrive: 1/26 Southwest Flt. 1840 11:15 AM
Depart: 1/29 Southwest Flt. 136 10:30 AM

It's too early for the departure but the next available one was like 11:30 PM.

Hutch, you got room in your car for one more?
 
I land Wednesday at 12:41pm. Anyone with similar arrival time care to work out some sort of rideshare? I'm fun, easy-going, well-behaved. I'll only have one bag. And perhaps some Scotch as a bribe.
