The Far Side is back

It turned up in an episode of Cheers once.

Woody : reading paper, sighs.
Cliff : “What’s the matter Wood?”
Woody : “I don’t get the Far Side.”
Cliff : with all-knowing attitude, “Woody, hand it over here, c’mon. let’s have a look.”
Cliff : takes paper, “Ok, Wood, now you see here in the first panel, the cows are standing on their hind legs right?”
Woody : nods while looking at paper.
Cliff : “The second panel, when the car goes by they are acting like normal cows.”
Woody : nods while staring expectantly at Cliff.
Norm : “See the idea here is Wood, you know, cows only act like cows when we're around, other times they act like people.”
Norm : “Does that help you clear it up a little bit for you?”
Woody : “I just meant I don’t get The Far Side in my newspaper at home but thanks for treating me like a one year old.”

My Google Fu has failed me, but you know who I can always count on? You all!
Help me find a Far Side!
The scene is a courtroom, with a monkey on the stand, a small plant marked 'Exhibit A' sits on a table, a weasel is prominently seated on the defense side, and a lawyer is pointing and speaking to the monkey. The caption reads something to the effect of...
"But my client contends he was NOT having any fun, and yet you continued to chase him around and around this little bush. He'd finally had enough, and that sir, is when he 'popped' you!"

As another poster said, the cartoon doesn't seem to be available anymore.

Care to give a short description? Creepy as in "this is scary"? Creepy as in "This is sexist"?
Just search for "Bears eating cub scouts" and you will find it.

Edit: The title serves as a good description.

I hope he re-releases the Tales from the Far Side DVDs. My VHS copies won't last forever, and I'd rather avoid making my own bootleg copy from them. I would rather give him the money.

Pretty sure (but not certain) that making a copy of something you own for your own use is perfectly legal and wouldn't constitute "bootlegging".

Can confirm.

Retain records of the originals if you are at all concerned about being audit by the author or their estate.

If it helps any, you can buy a new VHS copy from amazon... for $109.

Yeah, but it's gonna take time, and I would rather he had the sale.

I will keep the VHS originals, at least. Don't worry!

I swear I once saw a DVD version somewhere, but couldn't get for some reason. Now, I can't find that version at all, anywhere, for any price.

Two favorites. Had a 365 page Larson calendar one year.

First was a view of a bear head trophy mounted on a wall in a house and two bears staring at it from the outside through the glass window on a door and the conversation is this:

“Yeah, that’s Bob, alright. That’s his fur, that’s his nose, but - but, his eyes- there’s something different about his eyes.”

The other is a scene where a parrot is perched on a vine in a jungle above a quicksand pit where two pith helmets lie floating and the parrot is repeatedly saying,

“Be careful Morty, you’re pulling me in. AWK!”
“Be careful Morty, you’re pulling me in. AWK!”

Actually if someone can post those here I can compare my memory of it with facts. That’s really what I’m looking for.
