The Biden Presidency

Gawd I hate Biden's speeches.

He's giving a speech on the Floyd case, it's on in the other room so I'm not listening to the words. I just can't stand his whiny over-dramatic attempt at emotion.

It's not that I don't think he's sincere, he probably is. There's just something creepy/annoying about his speeches that grates on me like fingernails on a blackboard.

I understand when a person has that sort of effect. I thought his infrastructure speech was perfect though. Frankly I hope that he keeps speaking to a minimum. Take the exact opposite approach of Trump. Only speak when it is vital and keep it short. Work behind the scenes as much as possible. Don't give the Republicans any kind of target.

I find the exact opposite. Its refreshing to have a US president who speaks "presidentially" instead talking like an arrogant asshat... for example

- Not calling other people stupid names.
- Not referring to other countries as "****-hole" countries.
- Not spouting racist dog-whistles.
- Not lying every time he opens his mouth.
- Not claiming that he knows everything about everything.
- Not vocalizing support for white nationalists and white supremacists.
- Not advocating violence against people he doesn't like

Don't get me wrong. He's a wonderful POTUS so far, and I expect that to continue.

I just don't like hearing him speak. It's me, I'm not suggesting anyone else should feel the same.

Strange. I don't have that impression at all. Of course it's a bit annoying that he speaks so slowly but given his speech impediment and age, it's expected.

Can you imagine what America would look like this morning if Trump was still president. I don't know exactly how, but you just know Trump would have found a way to clutch defeat from the jaws of victory and turned our cities into bloodbaths.

I find nothing wrong with his manner of speaking. It just seems forthright and from the heart. I do notice tiny little fights against his stutter, sometimes accompanied with rapid blinking, but that just makes him seem more human to me.

Like most here, Biden was far from my first choice. But I think he’s turned out to be the right choice for the times.

Is it blinking, or is he using his eyes to send secret messages to his Chinese handlers?

Biden is telling people explicitly you need to get the vaccine to save your life and the lives of the people around you, and he is offering employers reimbursement to give employees paid time off to get a shot. Too bad the last guy never did the same.

Well you see, that money will just trickle on down to everyone else, who will use that money to buy syringes, which will increase demand, which will mean production will go up.

It's BRILLIANT.

He would have immediately pardoned Chauvin.

My guess if Drrumpf was still POTUS h would have objected to the guilty verdict. He probably would have tweeted the need to side with the police through the entire trial.
