Now a friend who is 93 and she considers herself very alternative in healing, takes many supplements, Vit C, D, Zinc, Grape Seed Ex and many more and her issues are OA and Glaucoma and a lot of hearing loss. But otherwise healthy, no colds, no flu and is dealing a year now with side effects from the Shingles vaccine, she's taking Oscillo daily to counter the nausea and headaches...so she has that daily struggle from shingles vac.

So we're talking a little while ago and I told her about all the tinnitus issues I'm reading from the Mrna vaccines and tell her, good thing she didn't take it and keep doing what you are doing and you will be fine... so the next comment from her was "I took the Moderna yesterday", I about screamed and said I don't believe you did it, then said if you end up with tinnitus and other issues, you'll know why. I said now you will be dealing with side effects from 2 vaccines, shingles and covid. The only other info she gets on all this craziness is from me but trusts Fauci and company more obviously...Again the brainwashing the media does and continues and will be forever.:eek::mad:

Caroline, your story raises some questions for me.

Firstly, if you don't read the LA Times and haven't watched TV for four years, how do you know what they're saying about anything?

Secondly, you say your friend has been dealing with side effects from a shingles vaccine for 'a year now'. As far as I've been able to ascertain the known possible side effects from shingles vaccines do not last anywhere near that long. If i'm mistaken please could you provide a link to evidence for long term side effects, because i have been unable to find any.

Thirdly, what does 'OA' stand for?

And lastly, is this 'friend' actually a customer of yours?

ETA I'm really not sure that a homeopathic remedy ostensibly made from duck liver and heart is going to help with nausea or headaches.

Where are you reading this? It's certainly not in the source to which you linked. That specifically mentioned that the man in question had contracted COVID-19. It said nothing about him having been vaccinated. If you're telling her things like that, you're lying to her.

She trusts doctors more than someone who thinks DNA is a preservative when it comes to health issues. What a strange world we live in.

She's also poked towards the same link I did. The one that provides numbers that indicate about 0.6% of the groups in question reported tinnitus after vaccine, albeit without causation investigated further. Comparative risk assessment tends to be a strong weakness in anti-vaxxers, regardless, even after it's spelled out to them, so it would be no surprise at all if she is trying to use that to prop up her position by feeding her bias and refusing to put the numbers in perspective.

Nonsense. There is abundant information that Covid causes tinnitus, and an article that says, quite explicitly, that a person who had Covid got tinnitus and killed himself, and you're implacably trying to suggest that the tinnitus was caused by vaccine because you believe only the vaccine causes tinnitus and that the report you cited is lying. You're making up a fake story to fit your beliefs.

A woman is particularly vulnerable to a nasty, potentially fatal, disease due to her age. She lives in a country where mismanagement and stupidity has resulted in said disease running rampant for the last year. When a vaccine is finally available for it, which extensive testing shows is safe and effective, she sensibly accepts it, and her wilfully ignorant "friend" screams at her for doing so. What a world.

How can this imaginary friend have any form of illness if she's taking the supplements which give you perfect health?
