Indeed. Additionally, most of them also reject the scientific method, which, as we know, is the best means we have yet discovered for understanding the universe.
"Science can't explain x", in this context, means either "science has explained x, but I haven't bothered to check", or " I reject the scientific explanation of x, preferring (insert favoured woo version here)".
 
Why does everything have to be scientific? How about some fun and curosity and energy work.


Because that's how we learn about our reality. Science is the tool we use to examine and explain the various phenomena of our world, it isn't perfect but has yielded the most consistent, repeatable results.

It does not impede curiosity, but the "what if" attitude is why there is a thriving workforce of mediums some of which involve themselves in missing children cases.

I have no idea what you mean by 'Energy work'.
 
Curiosity is in fact a great asset to those who wish to study science.
