I didn’t lose anything, per se; other than interest in arguing about a situation where neither side is seemingly able to muster a persuasive argument. Bias is the only real winner in that -and this- thread.

For my part, I think it’s obvious that Biden has lost a step or two but I’d still rather have him than Trump as POTUS...I think we can at least agree on that.

Speaking of that, I wonder how it happened. Was it toilet paper? If so, where did he pick it up. Now, I've been in truck stops, Port-a-Potties in national parks, etc. that were filthy but I doubt the President of the USA visits such places. So did he, himself, drop the tissue? And not notice?

Well, this is the Biden thread so I'll just leave it at that.

Hey, Biden promised 100 million shots in the first 100 says. Giving those shots in 59 days is not what he promised. I consider that to be a broken campaign promise!

Yeah but he's just another old white man, part of the same system, so he's really no better than Trump.
 
Pictures coming out from concentration camps border facilities show overcrowded and inhumane conditions.

It's hard to get a good read of the situation because the Biden admin has forbidden press access to these child prisons.

Democrat Congressman Henry Cuellar released pictures of an overcrowded immigration facility in Texas, Cuellar claimed more than 400 migrants were being kept there, and the facility was meant for just 250.

The Biden Administration steadfastly refuses to call the detention of more than 15,000 children in U.S. custody a crisis.

But it has stymied most efforts by outsiders to decide for themselves.

The argument might be made that they would prefer to be in there, with the hope and possibility of being released into the United States, than in the places they come from. I'd prefer that their parents not send them and they not get raped, exploited, and enrich Mexican cartels on the way here. I wish an aspect of President Biden's immigration policy was directed at the total extermination of the cartels (if there is, I'm not aware of it). The Vice President laughed heartily when asked about visiting the border.

"Heartily" is hyperbole perhaps. She's laughing (or possibly chuckling) about not having plans to visit the border yesterday. I'll transcribe.

Reporter: Do you have plans to visit the border?

Vice President Harris: Uh. Um. Not today! (reporter and Vice President laugh- or possibly chuckle) but I have before and I'm sure I will again.

Biden's doing great managing COVID, and he's on track to get the economy rolling with a bit of stumbling caused by ******** like Rand Paul whining about face masks, and a few governors simply declaring their states open for business.

He opened ACA insurance options for an additional time period.

He's begun to mend all the international fences Trump tore down.


Psst, he hasn't cured the immigration crisis yet. All together now Republicans to the tune of the talking-points-memo: complain and complain on every talk show, on news interviews, in the social media....
