With apologies to Arthur C. Clarke!

NASA's Perseverance rover is due to touch down on Mars on Feb 18th 2021. It is fitted with a couple of microphones. You'll be able to listen to the sounds from the Red Planet assuming it gets there in one piece. I suppose if it crashes that might make an interesting sound as well. Not one we want to hear, though.

The engineers are probably cursing the people whose idea it was to put microphones on the thing! It will likely give them sleepless nights for months!
