My bad.

I'll leave the pontificating to US Covidist Pontiff Tony Fauci, who I mistakenly took as Holy See for all the world's Orthodox Covidists.

Why do you continue to use this **** analogy when it was pointed out how **** it was pages ago?

It makes your argument look silly. Well, sillier.

Even factcheck sources have opinions.

For example, it is the opinion of this factcheck source that hospitals in the US do get more money when treating alleged Covid patients or having Covid added to the major cause of death on death certificates:
https://www.usatoday.com/story/news...ore-covid-19-patients-coronavirus/3000638001/

Your opinion may vary.

The factchecking there appears to have established that hospitals receive a larger payment for providing more expensive treatment, right? My opinion is that sounds mundane. How about you?

The article also mentions why it did the factchecking: because a politician insinuated that hospital administrators might hypothetically pressure doctors to lie about the treatment they provided to get more money. There doesn't appear to be any evidence of that happening. Do you have any?

This story seems to boil down to a politician noticing there seem to be a lot of payments claims from hospitals due to some "Covid-19" thing all of a sudden and he wonders what's going on.

Sorry I've been doing that.

Let me state for the record that anything I assert about anything is just my opinion.

If I link to anything that Tony Fauci, Chris Whitty, or Jon Rappoport says, I'm just linking to their opinions.
Yeah, their expert opinion.

If I have an engine issue with my 2015 Honda, and my ASE Master Certified cousin says I need to replace the #3 coil, while my neighbor who can't operate a claw hammer suggests I adjust the points and re-jet the carburetor, neither of which are applicable to my engine, because he heard someone else use those words, I'm not going to second guess the expert. You've demonstrated such ignorance of the subject already that your opinions are utterly worthless, even when we don't consider that they contradict what actual scientists all over the world are saying.

That's already been addressed. They're getting more money from the Federal Government because they're in the middle of a ******* disaster. If a coastal city devastated by a hurricane and subsequently gets Federal relief funds, do you consider that a scam?

And what about the other 95% of the human population? Are they all faking COVID-19 for the profit of U.S. hospitals? Are you really going to back an argument that stupid?

Your opinion may vary.
Well, Tom, we're not offering our opinions so much as pointing out the opinions of actual experts. So this isn't an 'agree to disagree' moment. It's just an incompetent against an entire scientific field.

Ummm, that link just contains a standard piece of The Health Deranger unconnected nonsense: I've heard word salad from seriously psychotic folk which makes more sense than that.

Also, from the point of view of a lifelong UK-ian, anything which links to that Nazi-supporting rag the Daily Mail (aka the Daily Heil or Daily Fail), especially when it concerns anything remotely scientific or medical, is on to a loser. (Potential CoI: I made a complaint to the press regulators here about the Heil and a piece concerning my old professional bit of the forest that was so far wrong it was over the horizon and was verging on the defamatory of a number of us).

Here is some more stuff for you all to tear apart, attack and all that you do and on the Panda stuff, damn I hope that's not true, but who knows. I know no one who works for Panda that I can ask.

You have no justification for getting angry with us if your claims don't stand up to critical scrutiny. This is a skeptics' forum - that's what we do. Most of us here are all about crash-testing ideas and claims about reality - even our own. The ideas that survive can be reasonably assumed to better reflect reality than those that don't. If you don't want your claims torn apart looking for flaws, then don't present them here.

That article is crap. The first paragraph contains is a right howler.

The hospital says they’re giving him fluids and antibiotics. In reality, they’re probably panicked that he might die.

It goes on to rant about animal sperm banks and left wing scientists, quoting from the daily mail. I guess the authors of the article took a leaf from Caroline13's book of only reading the headline and not the article, as the article describes a hypothetical project for safely storing genetic material using currently near impossible levels of technology.

ten European nations have halted the AstraZeneca covid vaccine due to shocking reports of serious blood clots forming in people after they are vaccinated

A flat out lie. There is no evidence to support this whatsoever.

As for the Panda Express story. It's total ******* bollocks: allegations and innuendo with no credible claims.

After perusing the site for 10 minutes (with ad blocking fully enabled) I can see why Caroline13 is so angry, paranoid and hateful if this website is the sort of stuff that she reads on a regular basis.

P. S. Why is important to point out that pink salt is China free in an advert. What does that even mean?

They use only paper plates and plastic cups?

Thank you for your answers. Unfortunately they reveal a depth of ignorance that is difficult to fathom.

1. Covid-19 was a common cold coronavirus back in 2019, As with novel flu viruses that require new vaccines every year, CV-19 has already mutated away.
Patently false, and wrong to boot. The disease is called Covid-19, which is an abbreviation of "Coronavirus disease/2019." The virus is SARS-CoV-2, and it definitely is not a common cold virus.

2. Yes, millions of cases of something have been reported.
Yes. It's a disease caused by a novel coronavirus: Covid-19.

3. No, it has not caused those deaths
On what do you base this belief? A huge number of these deaths have been traced to the SARS-CoV-2 virus, because we have the tools needed to test for it. Do you deny that the SARS-CoV-2 virus is causing disease and death?

4. No, there is no global health plague, there is is a global mass movement related more to political science than to biological science that has been labeled a pandemic by a panic-porn sensationalist press and a combination of medical-related interests and pharmaceutical interests, imvho. YMMV.
Are you equating a scientifically established, genome-sequenced virus known to cause disease and death to a moral panic?

Moral panics tend to be localized: not every country hangs witches at the same time. Yet this disease is showing up in every country in the world and is killing people in every country in the world. We know it's the same disease because we can test for it. Yet somehow every country in the world has been hoodwinked into thinking its people are being sickened and killed by something that doesn't exist?

Again,I am astonished at the depth of ignorance your post displays.

Are you really willing so obviously to miss 100 percent of what the subject is?

This is not just about who is right or wrong about Covid, or who is good or bad in the public arena.

It is about a particular instance, shared by a couple of people here, in which it is glaringly obvious that they either do not read or do not understand (or both) the very material they are presenting. If you actually wish to be taken even slightly seriously, you simply cannot link to a post which is about a particular disease, and then say you have no idea what is being discussed. Stupid names and epithets about Fauci do not mitigate this basic, fundamental, fatal problem.

Do you even understand what this problem is? There's plenty of room for disagreement on political and medical opinion. This is not the only problem. To carry on a serious discussion about those opinions, you need at least to demonstrate an ability understand what you are saying.

Tom, since you ignored my last question to you, I'd like to ask it again.

Are the healthcare professionals representing the 95% of the human population not in the U.S. faking COVID-19 so that hospitals serving the remaining 5% can profit from Federal assistance?

You are asking my opinion, and I'm done with that.

What is your opinion?
