I’ve salvaged the on topic bit I posted:

I can confirm Anthony Fauci does not make the news here, and decisions on Covid measures are not down to him in any way.

Here we have a right-wing coalition government, formed on the basis of Malay Nationalism and including an Islamist party - an unlikely candidate to engage in whatever Tom Palven’s global leftist political movement is meant to be.

Almost a year ago, this government put into practice measures developed in response to SARS in an attempt to limit the spread of the virus. These measures included lockdown, social distancing and mask wearing to avoid asymptomatic spread. Nothing to do with the US, Fauci, or NIH. Coincidentally, on the same day as Trump said “I wanted to always play it down”.

I'm in Canada. Fauci does make the news here, because the US is a very close neighhbour and we share a very long border.

I'd describe our current government as centre-left, which might well give Tom Palven nightmares. :D

Ditto here. We've had a series of measures put into place, ranging from mask mandates to social distancing to rather hard lockdowns. Canada did this based on advice from the WHO and other international groups. I don't know if Theresa Tam, Canada's Chief Public Health Officer was ever in contact with Fauci or not. In any event, Tam's the one who guides policy and recommendations here, not Fauci.

Childlike Empress, Caroline13, and Tom Palven: you'll find this is the case with every other country on Earth. Either all public health ministries, disease control centres, drug companies making vaccines, and the WHO are all in on a gigantic conspiracy to impose limitations on civil liberties on the pretext of there being a deadly pandemic out there, or there actually is such a pandemic.

The dead can tell tales. Right now there about 2.6 million of them from this pandemic. In my opinion, questioning whether or not there is one requires the same mind-numbing levels of ignorance and arrogance that we see in the flat earthers and moon landing deniers.

Covid vaccination is going to be the biggest project in medical history.
And one of the closest scrutinized.

Every and all complications will be known, simply because very rare cases of less than 1 in 100,000 become pretty common when you apply something to billions.

I am not a coronavirus expert, but I am smart enough to get information from people who are. Read such sources instead of the crackpot ones you seek out or don't, it's your funeral. Possibly literally.

What is a 'jab of unknown'?
Not any of the Covid vaccines, that's for sure: we know what's in them, how they were made, who made them, and how they work. This information is not just freely available, it's actually being constantly pushed at us, on the news, on social media, all over the place.
To claim you are ignorant of this can only stem from a conscious decision to close your eyes, cover your ears and refuse to acknowledge something that is well-known, easily accessible and well-supported.
Why would you do this?

In my normal, nomadic life, my location changes on a regular basis. Having my location listed as it is saves me the hassle of changing it every so often.
It's a line from Kipling's 'Man Who Would Be King', and reflects my love of travel and literature.
Personally, I don't see this as silly. Each to their own, I guess.
 
Blue Mountain, follow the money and maybe you'll find something interesting. Start with the relationship of Fauci, the head of the WHO Tedros Whatshisname and the WHO itself to the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation. Have fun.

How's that coming along? I mean, presumably you must have this evidence, otherwise you wouldn't have made that claim, right?

I don't know what she's on about; once you go through all that testing, and all those human trials, at some point you're not actually experimental anymore. I just assume for these non-pandemic experts, that the standards for a 'non-experimental' vaccine are suddenly much taller.

You are making insinuations but beyond suggesting the ruler of Belarus is a paragon of probity (an eccentric, but off-topic claim) you haven't actually said what your claim is.

You claim to have seen Dr. Fauci featured prominently in news media all over the world. Have you been travelling internationally during the last year? What countries does "all over the world" include?

If you ignore this question again then your claim will be filed along with CE's claim to know "a lot" of people who have died from measures implemented to slow the spread of COVID-19 - as a lie.

You can't show me where I claimed that, because I never did.

I did say I've seen American CNN all over the world, but I haven't been able to travel outside the US since Fauci became a rock star.

I suppose in a perverse kind of way there is an upside. They become the most likely group to catch the virus:boxedin: TBH this IS actually survival of the fittest, only in this case perhaps the brain fitness.

I had my first Astro-Zeneca and - zero side effects.
