Split Thread A second impeachment

Did the guy just say that challenging election results "is not incitement to resurrection?" Those evangelicals are everywhere.

I had to rewind it. Yes. Yes, he did.

I've been fairly amused in the last week or so because I've heard different newscasters misspeak "incitement to erection" at least four times. But they immediately corrected themselves.

Look at y'all two, actually trusting Moscow Mitch McConnell. That's so...adorable.

It's very simple, Mitch does what's best for his own pockets and his own power. It's why he does not care about helping others, it's why he sat with miners who travelled from Kentucky to beg for his own pension for less than a minute, only to tell them that he was siding with the owners who raided their pension, it's why he's constantly pulling stunt votes on non-binding bills that only ever signal intent and are not at all actual bills that can be signed into law, it's why he would happily toss out any universal health care plan to line his pockets, and it's why he decided to work with Toupee Fiasco once he won nomination for president.

Mitch McConnell is every bit the amoral scumbag that Dolt 45 is, but he's smarter. His position here is very simple - what Dolt 45 did was absolutely impeachable, but golly gee willikers he can't be impeached once he's out of office what an oopsie-doodle Pelosi did, they'll have to leave Toupee Fiasco off to run again, or go to prison, or finally be poisoned by the Kremlin, whatever works as long as the GOP's rabid white nationalist cult of personality base doesn't blame him or the other senators.

That's it.

I absolutely believe that McConnell would like to impeach Trump and banish him from GOP politics. I believe he can't stand Trump or his supporters.

But that is secondary to his own power. You can always count on McConnell to do what is best for himself above everyone else.

He's a Republican.

Cancel the 75 million Americans who voted for him?

What the hell did Trump try to do to the 80 million Americans who voted for Biden?!

I heard something on TV in the break room about the "vast majority" of capitol protestors being "peaceful" and Trump's rallies never before featuring any kind of violence, "law and order" and I left the room before my blood pressure started spiking.

So far it's been exactly what we expected. Is anyone keeping track of the logical fallacies used so far?

What has any of this "antifa" or demonstration stuff from last summer have to do with what Trump did?

It was the DC's mayor's choice not to call the National Guard and it is equivalent to not letting Trump send troops in to quell BLM riots.

So the impeachment isn't fair because it's too fast? I thought it's unconstitutional because it's after he's out of office?
