Cont: Qanon Conspiracy Theories Part Two

Losers gotta lose.

Why QAnon Survives After Trump [npr.org]
Inauguration Day should have punctured the conspiracy theory at the heart of QAnon.
In fact, the QAnon community has survived multiple unrealized predictions preached on Internet message boards since 2017. That's when its originator, an anonymous individual (or individuals) known as "Q" who purports to have high-level government security clearance, began posting on sites like 4chan. Followers decipher and analyze Q's cryptic online posts to create a false narrative that has spilled into the real world and even fueled violent acts like the deadly insurrection at the U.S. Capitol.
"They come to their conclusion first," View says. "They decide what makes them feel best and then they construct conspiracy theories that help them convince themselves why that's true."

"It's really kind of like an improvisational reality building," he continues. "They don't look to the outside world to try and figure out what is true and what is not, and as a consequence, sometimes have to face harsh truths such as the electoral victory of Joe Biden.

Really good series, balancing confrontations with mind-eating horrors from other universes against the really scary dealings with the HR department.

You have to make sure if you are dealing with human resources of posthuman resources.

A quite interesting cut-together of discussions about the "Q Shaman"'s showing up in the capitol, by people not opposed to Shamanisn per se:

You can find a video by the "Q Shaman" in my thread entitled "Ready for a ride?" if you are interested in high weirdness.

Just wait! On March 4 Trump will be inaugurated as the 19th president and unleash the kraken. Presumably with JFK Jr as veep instead of homeless traitor Pence.

I'm afraid the Kraken got stirred fried but he might bring out some tamago he scraped off his face.

The video you provide is quite long, I viewed the first few minutes, and it seemed to suggest an attitude that we need to be open minded, but not that open(!?). There is probably more in the other 50 minutes of the video, but I'd rather not invest my time to ferret out what point you'd like to discuss.

My own view is that Q Shaman, et al., advocate a general distrust of the status quo, but let's not get crazy about this. The Q Shaman, although seemingly crazy, is really challenging the status quo.

Actually challenges to the "Status Quo" like those from people like the Q Shaman are not actually challenging much of anything.

By mouthing and promoting obvious outrageous lies, conspiracy theory lunacy and an utterly paranoid view of reality that has very little to no empirical basis such opposition is a god send to the "Status Quo". Why? Because by being outside of empirical reality it hands over reality, empiricism, "facts" etc., over to the other side and renders itself largely impotent to challenge the "Status Quo", except of course to be used by elements of the "establishment" for their own purposes. Such people have in effect disarmed themselves of the tools for fighting for their own interests but have made themselves available has tools for others.

The "Status Quo" fears such rubbish only in so far has people who fall for it are ripe to be manipulated by other members of the establishment for their own purposes. For example in the last few years by Trump and others. (Remember the "Status Quo" isn't exactly fully united.)

Believing stupidities just makes you more of a mark / chump for exploitation.

"A clear indication that Marjorie Taylor Greene was more than a
dabbler in QAnon was her 2018 endorsement of “Frazzledrip,” one of
the most grotesque tendrils of the movement’s mythology. You “have
to go down a number of rabbit holes to get that far,” said Mike
Rothschild, whose book about QAnon, “The Storm Is Upon Us,” comes
out later this year.

The lurid fantasy of Frazzledrip refers to an imaginary video said
to show Hillary Clinton and her former aide, Huma Abedin, assaulting
and disfiguring a young girl, and drinking her blood. It holds that
several cops saw the video, and Clinton had them killed.

My own view is Q-Shaman and the rest of his internet cult aren't crazy. They're entitled douches.

What I want to know is why Q'Anon Shaman dude has a Q'Anon-identified (per Bubba, across multiple threads) pedophile logo tattooed on his chest?

Anybody?:D

I believe it means he only molests organic fed children.

Looks like the UK Ministry of Transport car test centre logo.

Isn't that actually a Viking symbol? Or are we riffing on the notion that everything that's remotely triangular must be related to that one alleged logo?

No, it's a Bubba/Q-nut riff. Apparently, any vaguely triangular logo is evidence of involvement in a pedo ring of some sort. This riff resulted in multiple posts by many posters of triangular company logos based on a triangular theme, which companies must therefore all be involved in said ring.

Can you show me on the label where exactly it says q-nuttery has to make any sense at all?

Nope.

I just can't get enough of seeing pics of this guy. If there was ever a visual representation of the answer to the question "are you sure you are on the intelligent side of this argument?"....
