Cont: Trump et al continued “2020 election” conspiracy theories

Thanks.
I note that these proposals would force websites to carry political views opposed by the owners.
I would be in favour of this, just to see the anguish and gnashing of teeth from all the far-right-wing, white supremacist websites you keep linking to being forced to carry messages from those opposed to those particular ideologies.
These proposals would also make the site hosts liable for their content, which is also likely to have more serious repercussions for your favoured conspiracist, anti-semitic, massively libellous sources.
So, yes, Bubba, I agree: let's do this, so we can shut down all your favourite sites. :D

Thinking about this a bit further:
If, as Bubba wishes, the internet is policed and regulated by the government, what happens to potentially libelous posts? Bubba has made two such, accusing Biden of multiple sexual assaults on children, and accusing Trump of receiving stolen property.
If these proposals were enacted, where would that leave forums like this? Could the forum be sued for publishing libel, or would the individual poster be held responsible? Or even both?

‘C’, as in Continuing to Con the Q/MAGA suckers, because those Russian mob loans won’t pay themselves. Nor will competent lawyers, since they’re aware of Trump’s long history of not paying his bills.

Sad evidence of difficulty accepting the fact I said I was wrong, and Biden will be inaugurated:

In the "How Bad Will It Get" thread, post #208, you also claimed Biden would not set foot in the WH.

YOU said:
Meanwhile I suggest you prepare yourselves for some initial shock and denial as it begins. While there might be a bogus swearing in ceremony held somewhere for Biden, he will not be allowed to enter the White House.

Not that you won't make up some sort of playground pretend excuse at to why you are wrong again.

Mike Lindell has assets and is out there repeating defamation that resulted in a large business losing a significant portion of their clients. He's going to get cleaned out.

Almost assuredly. He has to have been involved in litigation before, and therefore be aware that the standard of proof in a courtroom isn't like a press conference or Twitter. But if not, the awakening may be rude. I don't envy the law firm that has to defend this.

I've seen this a few times before. Hard-core conspiracy theorists occasionally take their claims to court where they seem to actually believe their own hype. They don't realize they can't use their typical shenanigans to evade a meaningful test of their claims. They don't realize their opponents will be prepared. Most of them don't make it past the pleading.

I see an announcement in a few months that he has agreed to retract his statements and pay for Dominion's legal fees. If not, and he actually goes to trial on this, his attorneys better get paid up front and get their malpractice counsel involved. The CYA memos will fill file cabinets.

Sidney Powell just dropped her latest idiot lawsuit to overturn the Georgia election results.

The Kracken crumbles: Not with a bang, but a whimper.

All this "Plan B" and "Plan C" stuff reminds me of a line from Bob's Burgers:

Bob Belcher: We saved our best idea for last: the big hole.

Linda Belcher: If it's our best idea, why did we leave it for last?

Bob Belcher: Because we didn't know it was the best idea until the other ideas turned out to be terrible.

Linda Belcher: That's stupid.

You keep keep going back, step by step, and every time you insist it's the last step back.

Right now you're claiming that Biden will be inaugurated, but won't be "allowed" to enter the White House. Next you'll claim he won't be "allowed" to complete his first 100 days. Then it will be his first year. Then he won't be "allowed" to run for a second term. And all the while you'll be desperately waiting for any sort of setback in his administration so that you can make an a posteriori claim to having known it was going to happen, and that it's the next big step in the Plan®.

Not so.

It seems there is some part of "I was wrong" that you overlooked. Do you need a checklist?

Biden will have a wonderful inauguration and administration. He will surely be the best two term US president in history

No, not at all. It is easy: Everything you say is wrong.

I heard President Biden will immediately investigate why CIA Director Gina Haspel suddenly resigned today, after DNI Ratcliffe reported she withheld evidence of CCP interference in the Nov election.

Patriot missile batteries are in place in case of a cruise missile attack on DC on the 20th.

Who would be launching scud or cruise missiles at DC ?

Is this different than normal?

Anti missile defense seems like the default for the seat of power.

And possibly also with sanctions. Was she the one some judge came down on?

A judge in Delaware denied permission for Lin Wood to argue a case in the state. Wood is not admitted to the Delaware bar, and such permission is usually granted, but the judge cited his poor character and denied the courtesy.

Surely he must actually understand there is no evidence. If there was, why would they wait until umpteen lawsuits have been thrown out and the other guy was about to take the big seat before showing it? It's absolutely insane.

I hope Dominion take him to the cleaners.
