Q-nuts will tell you that mask-wearing = communism, or something like that. A guy visiting Kauai was arrested twice for violating quarantine, and is facing a number of counts even though he agreed to the public health restrictions prior to visiting. Of course he videoed himself violating, posting it on Tok-Tok, whining that Kauai was the communist party, what ever that means. Yes, these people are that plank stupid.

And the funniest part is how quickly their hero is getting dumped: as I said, “...an utterly disposable buffoon, a loudmouth guest at the Republicans’ Dinner for Schmucks”. An ultimate loser who in turn despises his ultra-gullible marks like the Q crowd, but will gladly keep taking their money and praise.

Do some Merkinanians actually know what communism or socialism is? It's been very clear recently that some of them struggle to understand what libertarian means...

Then I suppose that, in Q-Tip or Trumpkin speak, I'd be some class of a dangerous forrin' commie...

Plus, some of these idiots are now going to be charged with seditious conspiracy, which could get them up to 20 years. I wonder if they'll raid their commissary funds to send him some grift?

The best part is that even behind bars, they'll still think they know the real truth, that they're smarter than everyone else.

Both of these are just knee-jerk terms to refer to anybody they dislike. We once had a governor of our state who would call a photographer taking a photo of him threatening a black man with a pick handle "a commonist an' socialist." He would ask a reporter at a press conference "What are you, a commonist?" He couldn't spell, you see. But the point is for the right, "socialist" and "communists" are mere expletives, opprobrious terms to be tossed around like "******" or "son of a bitch." It reflects on the speaker more than on the reviled one.

In the "backstabber" cartoon I linked to, I was trying to figure out what Lindsey Graham had done to supposedly betray Trump. Other than not going along with Cruz et al.

Garrison's fatal flaw as a caricature artist: He can't capture a likeness to save his life. Of course, he is probably also an odious human being, but if he could draw worth a damn he'd be more impactful.

Though who needs artistic talent when you've got a built-in fan base hooked to the eyeballs on lies that make up them feel special and in-the-know? What is going to be the next big thing after Q?

That's quite the show of desperation as an attempt to defend Trump. "Biden's done some things that can come across as a bit creepy, so just ignore Trump being creepy in much more illegal/immoral ways and making it quite obvious that he knew about and was fine with Epstein actually going after young girls sexually."

His politics are vile, but I think he's hit-and-miss artistically.
He can capture a likeness quite well, but when he fluffs it... boy, damn howdy. [emoji15]

I'd written another long post comparing Biden's hair-smelling to Trump's groping of his own daughters, raping his wife, etc. etc. I didn't see much point in posting it when I was finally done but saved a draft in case it comes up again. It's old news and not directly related to the "stolen" election conspiracy this thread is ostensibly about. But it's around if that kind of thread pops up.

Yes, I think there is an admission of sorts there. I did not expect Trump's descent to be so sudden and brutal. It's not over yet, but inshallah it will be soon and he can move onto his next phase in life - building a media empire, or whatever comes next. I can't say I feel sorry for him at this point but I don't particularly wish him ill, either. Sometimes I think it *would* be a relief if he had a health-care emergency that gently removed him from public life, though.

Well, you're kinder than I am. He seems to rely overmuch on hair, rather than capturing his subject's features and facial expressions. I love a good political cartoon and think those guys really have one of the best jobs in the business.

ETA: Still can't figure out what Lindsey Graham supposedly did wrong. I google him on occasion and his latest move was lobbying Biden to suppress the impeachment vote in the House. Unsuccessfully, but his loyalty to Trump is intact.
