This is just one example of why reassurances by some posters here that the US Military won't back Trump seizing power ring hollow with me. Mike Flynn was a general in the Marines. These guys didn't develop these views only after retirement.

That's one. Do I think there were/are Trumpists in our military? Absolutely. But I have heard Trump and Flynn vilified by General after General. What worried me was how Trump was changing the military. How he was changing advancement to rewarding support for him as opposed to being performance based.

Democracy got very lucky. I believe had Trump won reelection democracy in the US was doomed. Trump is entirely incompetent in building but he and his administration were semi competent at division and destruction. He was putting a hammer to Military hierarchy. Down the road you may be right. Trump needed more time.

He wasn't a very good Governor but Schwarzenegger is a true patriot. But I would feel a little better about that speech if it didn't include the theatrics. (See the music and the flag waving at the end) Arnold understands showmanship.

Amazing, even though 1) he is almost the same age as Stubby McBonespurs, and 2) English is not his first language, he still manages to make a fantastic speech... well laid out, emotional when it needed to be.
 
Okay, how about the Dems get an impeachment from the Republicans in exchange for amending the constitution to let Arnie run.
